This luxury condo is set alongside the 11th fairway of the Kona Country Club and is only 150 steps to the beautiful blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. Surrounded by Kanaloa's 18 acres of lush landscaping, the location of the condo makes it one of the most private condos in the Kanaloa at Kona resort. The condo is decorated in Hawaiian-Style furnishings and feels very spacious with vaulted ceilings throughout. We often hear our guests say that the condo feels like a home to them and is one of the nicest that they've stayed at in Kanaloa and Hawaii.
The spacious kitchen of unit 203 in Kanaloa at Kona provides guests with all of the amenities and appliances to create gourmet meals right in the condo. Hawaiian Koa wood cabinets and tiled floors and countertops compliment this large, open kitchen with lots of cabinets for storage.
You have several dining options at unit 203 at Kanaloa. You can enjoy meals with seating for five at the dining table on the lanai or seating for six at the large glass table in the dining room.
The living room of unit 203 at Kanaloa is decorated in Hawaiian style furnishings and is spacious and bright. Plenty of comfortable seating is provided by a sofa (queen sleeper), love seat, chair and ottoman along with desk and chair. There is an entertainment center with Cable TV, VCR, DVD and a video library with dozens of films.
The master bedroom and bath of unit 203 in Kanaloa at Kona is very spacious and comfortable. Amenities includes a king-sized bed with end tables, two six-drawer dressers, cable TV/VCR, a very large (10 x 10) walk-in closet, and your own private lanai. In the bath there are tiled-floors and countertop along with dual vanities and a large walk-in shower. Peek-a-boo views of the ocean can be seen through the bath window.
The second bedroom and bath of unit 203 in Kanaloa at Kona has vaulted ceilings and is open and comfortable. Amenities includes two twin-sized beds, an end table, a six-drawer dresser, ceiling fan, phone, and large picture windows. In the second bath there are tiled-floors and countertop along with a full-sized tub/shower.
Resort Information - Kanaloa at Kona is a four-star resort located on 18 lush acres on the north end of Keauhou Bay in Kailua-Kona, Big Island, Hawaii - approximately four miles south of the Kailua-Kona Town Center or the Kailua-Kona Pier. There are 168 total units in 36 buildings with one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom units located oceanfront, ocean view, fairway front, and fairway view.
Kanaloa at Kona is located in the center of the Kona Coast, the Keauhou area is known for calm winds and warm, sunny days because it is located on the leaward side of Mauna Kea, the 13,796 foot high (above sea level) mountain that is the highest point in all of the Hawaiian Islands. In fact, if Mauna Kea's height is measured from its base (18,000 feet below sea level), it surpasses even Mount Everest as the world's highest mountain (31,796 feet) Before modern times when the trade winds were blowing cold winter air down from the northeast, the Hawaiians would travel to the Keauhou Bay area for shelter and warmth.
Restaurant Information - for many years, Edward's Restaurant provided an outstanding oceanfront dining experience. Unfortunately in 2002 Edward moved back to the mainland and he no longer runs his restaurant at Kanaloa but the restaurant is now under new ownership and has maintained the same name and same location.

Kanaloa at Kona has a front desk managed by Outrigger Hotels and Resorts and they manage about 50% of the condo units at Kanaloa. Many of the other units are rented directly by owners, like the condos on this web site, while others are rented through local property management companies or the owners don't rent them at all. All amenities at the resort are available to resort guests and the resort is within walking distance of golf, tennis, SCUBA, snorkeling, shopping, cinemas and restaurants. |
