  Wish we could have stayed longer! the view from the porch is just like the photo, very pretty, we (and the dogs) loved relaxing there and watching the wildlife, It's great to have owners willing to allow dogs to stay in their properties, not all dogs are destructive and mine loved their vacation. If you're taking your dog, check out the dog park at James Island county park, it is amazing, and the dogs had a blast! we had to walk them around for a while to dry off after their swim and rinse and the park itself has lots of walking trails, playgrounds and things to do. The resort has several eating areas in walking/biking distance, so if you want a break from driving that is possible. Condo was well-equipped, spacious and very clean.

  Fully furnished with all you need to enjoy time on Kiawah Island. The walk to the beach via various routes allowed us to walk or ride our bikes and kept sand out of the villa . Proximity to Market Center made having a car almost unnecessary. The screen room overlooking the pond with hooded mergansers, cormorants and herons as well as an osprey provided even more enjoyment. Have stayed here before and will return whenever I can!

  This condo was perfect for our girlfriend weekend. It was clean and accommodated the six of us comfortably. We went in early oct. and it was quiet and relaxing. We had a great time riding bikes and walking on the beach. We like to cook so the kitchen was a little small, but not a big deal. Overall this a a great place to stay.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, tourists without a car.

  the house was clean, comfortable, and very well kept. it was situated in the middle of the island, which provided easy access to all locations. we loved it and are ready to go back! the owner was quick to respond and answered all questions. we really liked the Firefly Distillery and Charleston tea plantation. Summerville was also a nice town to tour (great quilt shop!).

  We had a great time with our 4 boys during our week long trip to this awesome property. Short walk to the beach and easy access to the islands amenities made this a special summer vacation. The owners were so helpful in providing lots of local advice-island restaurants, golf courses, Charleston tips etc. The property description and photos were accurate along with the amenities description. The unit was well stocked, clean and very well maintained. We are going to rent this unit next summer.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

  I spent a week on Kiawah Island with my husband, daughter, son, daughter-in-law and three year old granddaughter. This property was perfect for us. We all loved being on the screen porch overlooking the lagoon. It was fun for us to see alligators from the porch.The beach was wonderful and only a 10 minute walk. We also enjoyed our day trip to Charleston.

  My family stayed here in Spring 2011 and loved it. Our ages ranged from 11 to 76 and we all found our perfect vacation spot. In March, you have the beach almost to yourself. Our puppy loved running like the wind and we didn't have to worry about her bothering anyone. It is very close to Angel Oak, which is magical. We also went to Charleston twice during our stay and had a great time. Hoping to return this Spring.

  This is our final night in Kiawah. We are sad to leave but will be back and plan to stay at this property again. Everything about it is wonderful. Thanks so much for sharing your place.
