The Quartermile apartment is a truly stunning apartment which many people have said reminds them of a first class hotel! It's a spacious apartment with open plan living and fabulous views, and is managed by the owners of Edinburgh Villa. We have built a great reputation through the years of providing lovely, comfortable, and first class accommodation.

The Quartermile apartment is stunning and located in a very prestigious development just 5 minutes walk from the Royal Mile. Spacious modern living with modern conveniences and high specification finishes. Elevator to the door, magnificent glass walled living room with far reaching views, 2 bathrooms, wifi internet. The apartment has quality furnishings, comfy couch with chaise longue, and there's a magnificent glass wall the full width of the living room with views over parkland and to the city and valley behind, excellent for people watching was one guests comment! The sliding glass doors open up the apartment to lovely fresh air in the warmer days too.

A Sainsburys grocery shop, Starbucks and a highly popular 'Peters Yard' bakery/cafe is part of this development, a minutes walk away!

There are 2 spacious bedrooms and plenty of wardrobe space. One of the bedrooms has an ensuite bathroom with bath, shower and WC, there's a 2nd WC and shower room.

The apartment can comfortably accommodate 4 guests. We can accomodate 5 people by use of the sofa bed.

The kitchen is fully equipped and located just off the living room, there's a dining table for 4.

"Edinburgh in the winter!" Our stay was fantastic and our apartment was beautiful and comfortable. The view on to the park each morning was perfect for starting the day, watching students, runners and cyclists pass by. The location was well suited to our friend working at Mercy Core, and each day we walked all over the city to enjoy the castles and historic sites. The food in Edinburgh was fantastic and as a vegetarian I was delighted with the abundance of fabulous- meat free foods available at really good restaurants. There is a market next to the apartment building which offers wonderful and fresh foods,many daily newspapers, and also a coffee shop is right there too. Finally, the people in Edinburgh are lovely!

"Wonderful apartment" This apartment is superb in every way. The location is very convenient for the city, a walk to the Castle takes about 15 minutes. Although it's in the city it's a very quiet location. The apartment is new, nicely decorated and well equiped. We were 2 couples, so the 2 bathrooms were welcome.There was a small Sainsbury's and a couple of coffee shops just a short walk away.The view from the lounge window is impressive, it over looks a large park which appeared to be very popular for running etc. The parking space was important to us, and we liked the fact that the car park could be accessed directly from the apartment block.I found the access a little difficult the firat time but once I understood the way the "pass" worked it was fine. Inside the garage the stairs to the parking level were locked, so a short detour was needed to get to the car. I'm not sure I really mastered the TV and we couldn't find the instructions for the oven/grill. The wi-fi work well and was easy to get connected. Overall, one of the best places I've rented. I have no hesitation recommending it for a holiday and I hope one day I might get the chance to return.

"Wonderful apartment" We had a wonderful stay at this apartment. It is centrally located for all the sights, restaurants, bars, the Royal Mile and the Castle and yet close to a huge park (The Meadows) where we enjoyed long walks on tree lined paths. The apartment is very well equipped and has a lovely large living space with views onto the park through a wall of windows. We did not need a car although it does have parking. We are looking forward to a return visit.

Having stayed in many apartments throughout the world, without doubt this is the best. Short walk to centre of Edinburgh this apartment has the conveniences of modern living with great ambience. As a family of 4 we endured Edinburgh in cold and snowy conditions in Dec 2010 and at the end of each day looked forward to returning to a warm and comfortable apt. Fantastic location, fantastic layout and conveniences and fantastic hostess- truly nothing more needed. Stay again? Without doubt. Value for money? Very good.

Fabulous Apartment!

We had the pleasure of staying at this Quartermile flat during the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in August 2010. It was a fantastic location. Most of the places we wanted to see were within walking distance. The views were gorgeous, and it was fun to people-watch over the Meadows. The flat was immaculate and very bright and airy. There was lots of room for 2 adults and 2 children. There were plenty of good restaurants close by, and it was handy to have a grocery store within the complex as well. Would definitely recommend it to others, and we hope that we will have the chance to stay there again someday.
