Enjoy your stay in NYC on the border of Greenpoint and Williamsburg, New York’s trendiest neighborhood! Steps from the subway, McCarren Park, and some of the hottest restaurants, shops, galleries, cafes, music venues and bars in NYC, this cozy basement studio has its own entrance and access to a shared yard filled with rose bushes.

Furnished with a full-sized bed, a daybed, and a fold-away guest bed, the space sleeps 2-3 comfortably and can sleep up to 4. Free Wi-Fi & Satellite TV w/ HBO. Though the space doesn't have a full kitchen, a mini-fridge (with freezer), microwave, and dishes are provided for your convenience, as well as access to a washer/dryer. Midtown Manhattan (Rockefeller Center/Times Square) is approximately 20-30 minutes away via the G train (located around the corner), and the L train, one stop from Manhattan’s East Village and a 10 minute ride to Union Square, is a short walk down Bedford Avenue, the hottest shopping street in Brooklyn.

  • Hi spent a whole week here and everything I can say about this place is positive. Very comfortable and cozy studio, close to everything, beautiful park (McCarren Park) close by. The neighbourhood is cool, lively and quiet at the same time. Just a ten relaxing minutes walk and three subway stops to downtown manhattan on the L train(25 minutes in total). The only problem is that you have to watch your head if you don't want to hit your head, but that's not a big deal considering all the pros. So for me it's a 9.5/10. Thanks to the owner, I would stay again there!

  • My wife and I stayed at Gyda's for our trip to New York. It was very comfortable and clean. Very easy to get from there and in to Manhatten. We also found the best pizza we have ever eaten at Schmooks near the Subway. All in all a very good place to stay when visiting New York.
