Beautiful house and the view was wonderful! The outdoor shower was FABULOUS! Our family enjoyed playing pool in the game room and many board games at the large dining room table. We were so tired at the end of each full day, we didn't even care there was no TV in the bedroom. The kids room did have a TV with a DVD player. Already planning on booking again next year!

This house is fantastic! The views were beautiful, and the sunsets were extraordinary. We enjoyed watching the fish jump and the birds dive into the sound. The swing on the screened-in porch provided quiet relaxation and more wonderful views. We had a great time sitting on the deck, lounging in the hot tub, and playing pool. The home was well stocked, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more, and it was outfitted with extremely nice appliances. Grilling out became a nightly ritual for us. The outdoor shower is a must. What a view! The house's location also made this a great trip. The drive to the beach was short, and there were great seafood markets, stores, and restaurants nearby. The Hatteras Lighthouse was only a few miles away, and there was lots to do - everything from renting kayaks to fishing. There were also nice places to bike ride. All in all, this house was a great deal! The owners were very easy to work with and clearly take great care of their home. We highlighly recommend this rental.

We had a fabulous time at the beach house and enjoyed a nice escape to the Outer Banks! It was beautiful. The house was very nice and exceptionally CLEAN! It was very well furnished with neat decor and the kitchen had everything you would want or need! The different levels provided such variety. It was great to have the option of sitting on the upper deck overlooking the sound, going to the middle level on the enclosed porch in the WONDERFULLY comfortable swing or sitting out near the water. We went to many of the little shops around Cape Hatteras and enjoyed the quaint village areas. Not near as touristy as Nags Head area! Very quiet. We also discovered though that things close up fairly early. Most shops closed by 8:00. Of course the Cape Hatteras Lighthouse is a must see. We shopped at the little grocery store called Conner's Supermarket and we were amazed at what variety they had for such a small little supermarket. Everyone was very friendly. The beaches were not crowded at all. We also got to see a pelican rescued by a handful of people on the beach. It had been wrapped in fishing line and couldn't fly and a few people on the beach covered it with a towel and untangled the line. It was great to see something positive like that where people actually did something to help! The beaches were beautiful, the waves were amazing and the neighborhood where the house is located was so peaceful. It is a very cool home! We enjoyed it and would highly recommend it.

This was our first experience with a rental home so we have nothing to compare with, but, we would be very surprised if anything could top this one. The location is in a quiet, tree lined neighborhood. We very much enjoyed the privacy lounging on the back deck, either having morning coffee or early evening cocktails while gazing out at the Pamlico Sound and the different species of birds found there. Sunsets were a real treat. I don't think we missed one the whole week. With only a short drive to the ocean, we also took in the sunrises a couple of mornings when we arose early enough. A favorite morning ritual was taking the dog for a walk a couple of blocks down to the main road to the quaint and fantastic coffee shop. The house was very clean and very inviting. My son and I enjoyed the pool table as well! We could not have asked for a better place to spend our first, but probably not our last trip to the beautiful and enchanting Outer Banks. Thanks.

My girlfriend and I shared this lovely home in May 2010. It is everything as advertised and much more. Designed and built with an eye both for comfort and style, tastefully decorated and perfectly situated right on the bay. Idyllic and secluded setting with romantic sunsets, every accoutrement you would want for a carefree vacation, including hot tub and two decks for viewing the lovely surroundings. Easy access to the charms of Cape Hatteras, and, above all, peace and quiet. Agent Judy and owner Howard are outstanding folks. I have been renting vacation homes for many years and this was one of the best. We are planning to take a week here next summer. 'nuff said!

It's almost impossible not to relax here. We loved the hot tub, the porch swing, the pool table, and ESPECIALLY the hammock right next to the sound. The stars were fantastic. All around, this house was incredible... We'll try to get back again next year for sure!

We had our annual family easter getaway here. First impressions are important and on our entry this place had it all. Tastefully decorated, clean, everything you needed for a relaxed and fun experience. We've been staying in the outter banks for over 15 years, the kitchen here was the best equipped (from a chefs view). When you look out from the windows and doors facing the sound you fell that your in a luxurious treehouse. The outside shower is the best ever, you look out onto the bay in complete privacy, it's the only one everyone will use! This is a jewel in the outter banks.

A nice place with the comforts of home, and added amenities for fun. A well-equipped kitchen was nice, and the decks and screened porch were great!. Beautiful sunsets over the sound. We were very happy with our stay, and really enjoyed this "gem" of a house in Frisco. Our only wish is that our stay here could have lasted longer (and we could've gotten a kayak to try out on the sound). Thanks for accomodating us!
