We recently stayed in the condo and it was much more than expected. The unit is beautiful, and very clean. Just as described (and probably nicer). Pam made the arrival a breeze and had all the extra necesities available to us. We would definitely rent the unit again! The kids enjoyed walking down to the Marina. Capt Ben of the Tailwalker (Charter out of the marina) gave us an expedition, and Chad on the snorkeling trip made the day for the kids.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

We've been coming to Hawk's Cay for several years and this is by far the nicest condo we've stayed in. I would highly recommend it. Well appointed, comfortable beds, nice linens and towels, upgraded appliances, and the unit is spotless. Location is perfect if you plan to use the marina.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities.

We just returned from a wonderful week on Duck Key. Our family - mom, dad, kids (10 and 14), plus grandma and grandpa, too - fit perfectly into the condo. All of the rooms are much larger than they appear in photos! The porch was our favorite spot to hang out, read and enjoy the water view. The condo is clean, spacious and a wonderful place to call "home" for a while. Pam is fantastic to work with and the condo is fabulously appointed, too. We had more towels, blankets and pillows than we needed and more than I can ever remember having in a rental condo. Another nice touch is all of the "extras" like garbage bags, paper towels and soap that Pam made available for us. The bathrooms were spacious and we loved having access to the washer and drier. Beyond the condo, Duck Key, is a great place to vacation. We loved being steps away from the marina. We rented a boat for two full days and it was great to be able to dock the boat and run up to the condo for lunch. We had a great week filled with fishing and snorkeling. We caught more fish that we could count. While snorkeling, we saw a sting ray, a shark, a lobster and tons fish. Hawks Cay is a fun resort and we enjoyed the Sunset Pool as well as the Lagoon. The dolphin encounter, about 1 mile south of Duck Key, was fantastic! The Island Fish Company was great - we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there over the course of the week. Another favorite spot for an elegant dinner is the Key Colony Inn. We went to the beach at a state park about 4 miles south of Duck Key. Bring your walking/ running gear, too. Duck Key is a great place to walk/run! Don't hesitate to book this condo. Pam is wonderful to work with and the condo is 100% as promised!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

We just returned from a 5 day stay at Pam's condo and we could not be happier. The condo is much nicer then the pictures and Pam has it outfitted to cover everything. It is located in the center of the resort with awesome views of the Marina. Our 3 boys enjoyed feeding the Tarpon at the dock and swimming in the salt water lagoon. We chartered fishing boats and had the fish cooked at Tom's Harbor House which is a very short walk from the condo. We will definitely be back next year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

This condo is not only in an excellent location, half way down the keys and it is well appointed and clean. It had everything we needed. The outdoor space was used more than the indoor space as we had wonderful weather. I would stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+.

We returned yesterday from a relaxing trip to the Keys. As with other reviewers we spent most of our time at the condo on the lanai. It's a perfect spot to read, relax, dine or watch the activity at the marina. The condo is exactly as described. It's in excellent condition and is very clean. Pam is helpful and easy to work with. We drove up and down the Keys exploring during our time there and enjoyed the Dolphin Research Center, finding the Key Deer on Big Pine Key, Bahia Honda State Park, and walking around Key West. Our favorite restaurant was the Butterfly Cafe at Tranquility Bay Resort. It's a pricier restaurant but the food was amazing. (Grouper, Scallops) We also enjoyed Franks Diner for lunch and the Stuffed Pig for breakfast. I will definitely recommend this condo to friends and family.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

First of all, the pictures do not do this property justice!!! The view from the large L-shaped porch is breathtaking and the marina is much closer than it looks in the photo. The kitchen and baths are completely updated and high end. The bedrooms were clean, beds comfortable, and opened on to the porches. The living area was spacious. We had everything we needed available. The owner of the unit is very friendly and easy to work with, contact, etc. I felt like I was dealing with a family member! I have used VRBO multiple times in the past and this was by far the best experience. We had friends that stayed in the resort villas and our unit was much larger. My son is a senior in high school and wanted to fish for his last spring break. It was so easy for our family to walk 50ft to the marina, rent a boat and catch more fish imaginable. The resort is beautiful and has more activities that you could do in a week. Since we did not rent directly through the resort, we were not able to use the pirate pool or restaurant at the large pool. This was not a problem for our family with 2 high school boys whose main goal was to fish. I could go on and on, but the bottom line is that this unit definitely deserves a 5+star. I sure hope that we will be able to return one day.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

Pam's 2bd 2 ba condo was great! The layout is perfect for a family of 5. Everything looked brand new. She has everything you would ever need. A starter set and then some of paper towels, bath tissue and just about everything eles was included in the rental. Did I say it was clean? Very, very clean. The walk to the sunset pool was all of 4 minutes, she even has pool towels for you. My son and nephews also in joyed the main pool and the salt water lagoon. Make sure you take a snorkeling trip on "Blue" and if you have the time a jet ski tour which should not be missed. Will plan to come back in the very near futureRecommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, adventure seekers.

Our family (includes two 20 year-old boys) had a great time. We were there from 7/30 - 8/6/11. The condo was exactly as described and very luxurious. Perfectly situated for a short trip to Key West or Key Largo. Property was very well maintained. The wrap-around screened-in porch was the best!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2003
About the owner: Hi! I’m Pam Nada-Caley and I have lived in Cleveland, Chicago and in 1984 relocated to the Keys. Since then Duck Key and the Keys have been my home. It is the perfect place to enjoy the water while being in an upscale neighborhood in the middle of the Keys, where you can conveniently get from Key West to Key Largo in a little more than an hour. In 2003 I purchased and upgraded an oceanfront luxury condo on Duck Key in the heart of the Hawks Cay resort, which I am now renting since moving to a home on Key Colony Beach. I enjoyed this condo and Duck Key for many years and hope to have availabilities for your vacation stay for you to enjoy it also!
Why the Owner Chose Duck Key:
The main reason for buying in the Keys was to have a view of the water, warm weather and good fishing! Added to this Duck Key is an upscale community and Hawks Cay provides resort amenities with restaurants, boat rental and fishing trips, spa and beautiful landscaped grounds open to the public. Centrally located in the Keys, Key West is only an hour away with many attractions, shopping, wonderful restaurants and theaters in season.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The condo has wonderful views of the marina and ocean beyond set in the heart of Hawks Cay Resort. The condo is spacious and has been recently upgraded both inside and out with new kitchen (granite countertops, new cabinets, stainless steel appliances), new bathrooms with marble countertops and walk in shower stalls, new furniture, tile throughout and large screened porch. This is a wonderful, comfortable getaway to relax and enjoy your vacation.
