This is country living at its best. On a hilltop 15 miles inland from the beach is our home "El Refugio". The property is two acres to insure your privacy. Our two year old home boasts 8500 sq. ft. of living area all surrounded by spectacular views of Fallbrook and the distant mountains. On a clear day you can see the ocean. Fallbrook is know for its perfect weather, boasting 300 day plus of sunshine, warm days and cool nights. Fallbrook is home to numerous golf courses and Temecula is 15 minutes north with gambling, golf, horseback riding, and wine tasting. Oceanside harbor is a 17 mile drive, and downtown San Diego is a 47 mile drive. In between the two is the San Diego Zoo, Wild Animal Park, Sea World, and countless golf courses and beaches. We are also a 90 minute drive to Disneyland and other Los Angeles attractions.
The home compliments the beautiful surroundings with its circular architecture, indoor and outdoor water features, large vanishing edge pool with a 50 foot water slide, and views from every room. Enjoy entertaining either indoor in the living room, family room or recreation room, or outdoors around the pool, or on the circular deck. 60" HDTV with surround sound in the family room and recreation room. Every sleeping room has an IPOD dock in the wall and speakers in the ceiling. Sound system throughout the entire house. Every bedroom has a private bath. All baths are accented with granite counters and lots of tile and stone. Downstairs is a 1000 sq. ft. circular recreation room with pool table, large screen TV with video and gaming, lots of seating and a wet bar. The recreation room opens to the pool area. The salt water pool is lagoon style with a 50 foot infinity edge and 50 foot slide into a splash pool complete with swim jets. The solar pool heating keeps the pool 75 degrees plus from May thru October. Summer pool temp is usually 85 degrees. The large spa spills into the pool.
The heart of the house is the huge circular great room with 20 foot open beam ceiling and gourmet kitchen complete with breakfast nook. The kitchen has granite counter tops and all the latest appliances including a Miele built-in Coffee Machine, 4 ovens, a warming oven, three refrigerators, two dishwashers, a Viking stove, a separate Viking wok, and a view that makes cooking fun. The great room has a fireplace and spectacular views. The formal dining room seats twelve, and opens to the formal living room with fireplace. All these rooms open on to the 1000 sq. ft. circular patio, and did I mention the view.
Quality features throughout the house include 3 car garage, bar area with a granite water wall, extensive use of marble, granite, and other natural stones. The bedding includes three kings, two queens, two doubles, and a single. The house is completely furnished and kitchen is well appointed.

This is our primary residence and purchased this lot for the stunning 360 degree views. On a clear day you can see 15 miles to the ocean.
