My familty and I spent 11 glorious days in this beautiful villa. Our hosts made all of us feel very welcome and couldn't have been more helpfull. The villa is extremely well equipped with just about everything you could ever need. Even if you never leave the property I guarantee you will have a wonderful time. Maybe one of these days we will be able to visit again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We were only 4 people, but we could have had 8 or more and been lost in the house. It has beds and bathrooms as indicated, and the kitchen had everything we needed, but the best features were the owner Giuseppe and especially his parents in the house next door.......they were wonderful. The gardens and grounds and the and the panoramic views of the valley were stunning. In eight days,we only ate 1 meal inside....the rest of the time we ate on the huge covered veranda (including a fabulous meal prepared for us). I loved taking one of the bikes and riding around the Tuscan mountainside, and we also walked the same roads. You need a car to get around the area, and a GPS is very helpful. We loved the property, the pool and Hot Tub, the region and the Italian people. There is a supermarket about 7 kilometers towards Lucca, and it has great food and wines. Lucca is a wonderful city to visit, and you can park there and take the train to Florence, or drive to other areas around. For us 8 days went too fast! Just returned from 1 week at this wonderful Villa in the Tuscan hills. Given the diversity of our party of 8, from two 20 year olds up to my 102 year old grandmother it had something for everyone. Particularly enjoyed sitting by the BBQ and outdoor eating area, we were also well looked after by the owners parents living next door, It's close to many sights including Lucca, Viareggio and Garfagnana, we would love to return some day as we ran out of time to see and do everything we wanted.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I have been in this wonderful villa in summer 2009, and we had a perfect holiday. Everything was great, the Villa was equipped with all comfort and fully immersed in a marvellous landscape, very typical Tuscany countryside. Giuseppe, the owner, is very hospitable and available for any kind of help. I suggest this Villa to everyone who wants to have a relaxing and charming holiday.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I have stayed in this wonderful Villa for one week, from the 1st until the 8th of May 2010. It was one of the best holidays of my life. The house was marvellous, very elegant and equipped with all comforts. The private pool area, with SPA, it's immersed in a superbe landscape, made by green, olive grooves and roses. We purchased this house to live in, but now we have moved to another house and we use that one to rent for tourism.

The villa is located in a panoramic position on the top of an enchanting hill. The area is very peaceful and the garden surrounding the house, well-attended and rich in many varieties of flowers - roses, geraniums, hydrangeas - pleases both the eye and the mind. You can relax in the shade of the lime-trees or sun-bathe along the beautiful private 13x6 metre swimming pool. Reserved for house guests, the swimming pool is also equipped with night lighting and every possible comfort: deck-chairs private solarium garden tables and chairs shower restroom dressing room Three hectares of woods with tall and leafy trees like oaks, pines and chestnut-trees, offers the opportunity for pleasant walks, sheltered from the summer heat, during which you can happen to meet the little inhabitants of the wood: squirrels, foxes, porcupines and a wide variety of birds such as blackbirds, sparrows and nightingales. ...and the most imaginative visitors and children are also likely to meet the Linchetto, the teasing elf of the Tuscan woods... The olive-grove surrounding the garden along the hillcrest yields each year an excellent dense and tasty olive oil. Ask the landlords and they will happily let taste this oil: there’s nothing better than a slice of toasted bread with this oil!
