We had a wonderful trip to Paradise. The location could not be better. We walked into the condo and were awed at the beautiful view. The condo was clean and welcoming. We immediately hit the beach and grabbed lunch at Iggie's. Everyone in the Bolongo Bay area was friendly and laid back. The condo's location was perfect too and made for easy trips to Charlotte Amelie, Red Hook, Sapphire Bay and Magen's Bay. The condo's wi-fi made it easy for us to see how many cruise ships were in each port each day, so we could plan where to be (or more importantly, where not to be). We found the clifftop pool late in our trip and regret that we did not make more of an effort to find it. It is definitely a gem, so be sure to find it your first day. We cannot wait to return to Paradise for another amazing trip.Owner response: We are delighted to know that you loved both the condo and the location! I hope you return for a longer visit next time...returning Guests receive special pricing!

We rented this wonderful vacation home for a "dream" trip with our 2 teens (before they no longer truly enjoy vacationing with "the folks"). It was in fact a dream come true. First of all, Paradise has everything you could possibly need. I will try to point out a few particulars that made this rental truly feel like home: ~ Very nice & comfortably furnished ~ Access to the huge deck & "sound of the seas" from the master bedroom was perfect (the beds were super comfortable!) ~ Large screen TV in the living area (although we rarely used it since our entertainment was mainly outdoors!) ~ Use of coolers & beach towels was fantastic (many other items were available to use but not needed by my crew) which made it so easy to pack lighter & save a little $ by taking our own lunch & snacks to the beach ~ The fact that this condo was on the 2nd floor meant that the iguanas did not invade our deck & we could simply enjoy hearing the uproar from the level below as THEY were invaded each morning! ~ Binders that included a wealth of information about the condo, restaurants, things to do were available to aid in planning our days ~The pools were great. We visited the cliff-side pool a few times but found the best time was early morning for a sunrise coffee when all was quiet & the view was amazing (you feel like you are on the deck of a cruise ship). The beach facing pool was also very relaxing & convenient... it doesn't get much better than relaxing on the lounge chairs while the kids enjoy a swim ~ Location, location, location! Close to most everything we enjoyed doing... hitting different beaches, fun dining, Tutu Mall, Coral World, & only a quick drive to Ch. Amal. ~ Snorkeling was great right in Bolongo... eagle rays, barracuda, & an array of beautiful fish (check out the East side along the rocky cliff= very fun!) ~ Last but not least & this should have been first on the list... the communication between ourselves & the owners was exceptional. So helpful & very responsive! Thanks!!! BEACHES, other than Bolongo, we really enjoyed Coki & Sapphire. Waterlemon on St. John was also an EXCELLENT, more secluded find (lemon sharks, dolphin, rays, turtles...) but you have to walk 0.8 mi. to get to the beach. DINING: The Pie Hole, Big Kahuna Rum Shack, Iggies, Duffy's Love Shack, Barefoot Buddha were great! A swim w/ the sharks @ Coral World... "awesome!" Thank you SO much for making our dream a reality. If financially able... "We'll Be Back!"Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We just returned from our 10 night getaway to Paradise. The condo was perfect for me, my husband, my 2 daughters 21 and 19 and my son, 9. This is a great location and is easy to get to other beaches to explore. Also, easy to get to Red Hook to get the ferry to St. John, definitely recommend Trunk Bay for Snorkeling. Also, snorkeled at Coki beach twice, visited Magen's Bay and Linguist Beaches. Ended most nights at Iggies Beach Bar which was fun and had live entertainment nightly. Our favorite restaurant was Pesce in Red Hook. We were able to cook in a few nights and had everything we needed to do so. Plenty of pool/beach equipment to use. Appreciated the use of the cooler, beach chairs and noodles. Enjoyed sitting on the deck and enjoying the view and watching the iguanas. We did also eat dinner at Mim's one night and it was also excellent. I got the lobster curry and it was expensive, but sooo delicious. We shopped at Kmart and also the Food Market on the way to Red Hook. All in all we definitely had a great vacation and enjoyed our time at Paradise and all of the 'extras' provided that we wouldn't have gotten from some other places that I had considered. Definitely bring the bug spray for being out at night! We also did the turtle snorkle 1/2 day trip offered right at the Bolongo resort, we enjoyed that. Thanks, Sue for a wonderful vacation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: It was wonderful working with you to make your stay so memorable. I really appreciated the emails from Paradise and all of the photos. We hope to have you return!

We just recently returned from a wonderful trip to Paradise in St. Thomas. The condo was amazing – it was close enough to everything and yet private at the same time. Sue made every effort to make sure we had a wonderful family time…from giving us important tips and advice in the planning stages to texting us on the airline home. The balcony of the condo was great for sitting out evenings, enjoying a few tropical drinks, and listening to the waves pounce off the rocks below! The iguanas was everywhere…the boys found them exciting! The binders of information gave us so much to see and do. It also listed some really great “notes” – for example we learned about the “no-see-ums” which we ran into at the Cliffside pool! We used the beach chairs, snorkel gear, and towels daily. This made the trips to the beach easier without having to rent such items. The three pools was all amazing in their own way…the Cliffside was beautiful to watch the sunsets…the Garden was great for the boys to jump and dive in and out of (constantly!)…and the beachfront pool was super to listen to the waves and enjoy the music from Iggies! The pictures are exactly what you get when you get to Paradise. I would recommend this condo and the helpfulness of Sue to anyone wanting to create amazing family memories that will last a lifetime!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

We traveled to St Thomas for our family vacation...with two teenage boys. Even before we arrived in Paradise, Sue was superb. She was in contact with us from the early stages of planning to even texting us on our airline trip home. Whatever we needed or questioned she was quick to help us out. The condo was amazing - close enough to everything and yet very private at the same time. The full kitchen really helped out with the food costs as we could eat breakfast and some lunches there. The balcony was magnificent for late evenings with a few tropical drinks and the sound of the waves beating against the rocks below. The three pools were terrific for the two boys – each day was a decision on which pool to visit. The binders in the condo really helped out with any other questions we had…thanks for the advice on the “no-see-ums” that we ran into at the Cliffside pool. We had a wonderful time and made some superb family memories that will last a lifetime. I would, without a doubt, recommend Sue's condo in Paradise to anyone who is looking for a great place to stay, a fantastic price, and a wonderful owner who is very willing to go out of her way to make sure your vacation it memorable! Thanks so much Sue for an unforgettable trip!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing.

Location is perfect between Red Hook and Charlotte Amalie, so clean, beautiful view, snorkel equipment there to be used, also beach chairs...and the notebooks of information that Sue has provided are so helpful, there is info on everything you could want! Loved cooking dinner in the condo and eating out on the balcony! We truly enjoyed our week at Paradise Condo. The unit was just as pictured and described. We especially appreciated the well equipped kitchen and starter supplies. For some dinners we walked to an on site restaurant, with Mim's our favorite. Also made good use of the quality beach chairs, beach towels and cooler for visits to other beaches. The setting and the view are just fantastic. Would highly recommend.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

This unit exceeded our expectations. We have rented property through out the Caribbean for the last 17 years and have to say that Sue has surely thought of everything! We really appreciated the beach chairs, coolers, and snorkeling gear as renting all of this can really add up. The unit was very clean and nicely decorated. There were special touches like good quality towels, and organic toiletries. There were 3 very detailed binders with information about things to do, restaurants, and staying at Watergate Villa's. The location was perfect for us as there was plenty to do but still have the quiet, relaxing getaway we were looking for. I highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: Dear Lee Ann, Thank you for your recommendation! And, I am happy you enjoyed the organic toiletries...it is nice to know they are noticed! Sue

We had a wonderful stay in Paradise. The condo has absolutely everything you could hope for including beach towels, snorkel equipment, beach chairs and noodles for the pool. The kitchen was very well equipped with a great selection of pots and pans. The bedrooms were very nicely furnished and the beds were very very comfortable. You can walk to Iggys or Mim's restaurant in about one minute flat and get drinks for the beach, or get lunch or dinner. The owners were absolutely wonderful to work with and even called us at the condo to be sure that everything was the way we wanted it. The condo is also a short drive away from Sapphire, and Coki Beach where the snorkeling is fabulous. I cannot give this condo a high enough rating. It is everything it is described to be and more so. If you are looking for an oceanfront condo with everything you need for the perfect St. Thomas vacation, then Paradise is the place.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We chose to stay here for many reasons, and all turned out to be great choices! Our main reason was the balcony - this unit is right on the edge of the ocean with a large balcony overlooking a small, peaceful bay. We could tell from the photos that it is an older complex, but as my mom says, the oldest places have the best location! The unit has been kept up well for sitting right on the ocean. It was very clean inside, and with quality furnishings. The cove, beach, and pools are not crowded. The price paid is an excellent value - after seeing some of the other condo complexes we though about renting, I was glad we chose this one. Be sure you rent a car so you can explore the numerous beaches on St. Thomas and St. John. We snorkeled every day at a different beach, with a different view both under and above the water! The owners gave us tons of island information to help us plan our week, and the condo had even more info when we arrived. Too much to do and so little time, we will have to go back and stay here again! We have been to Cancun numerous times, and although St. Thomas was a more expensive trip, is was a totaly different experience on this beautiful island!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Me, my husband and 3 teenaged children had a great time at paradise condo. It was everything that Sue said it would be. She was always extremely helpful with any suggestions for dining and even our wedding vow renewal. Sue suggested smith bay for our ceremony and I could not have been more pleased with the recommendation. The condo was fully stocked with beach towels and beach equipment. And we took full advantage of that. The only thing I would have changed about our trip is the time of year. August is very hot and humid. Not sure what the rest of the year is like but it has to be better than that. All of her info folders in the condo were a great help whenever we wanted to go eat or shop or snorkel or anything. We spent a lot of time at Iggies. The food is pretty reasonably priced compared to other places. I would definitely recommend Paradise Condo for anybody, whether you have been to St. Thomas before or if it is your first time. Nothing on the island is more than a 30 minute drive away. Hope to visit again soon.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

This place fit our needs PERFECTLY and EVERYTHING the owner tells you is exact when you get there! This is a location you can trust! The place matched the photos (not at all one of those deals where the photos showed something - then when you got there it was something else!). It was very clean and the convenient for the price that could not be beat! We stayed with another couple very comfortably. Coffee on the deck in the morning started a beautiful day. The Lobster Grill and Mimi's restaurants are steps away at Bolongo Bay Resort if you just don't feel like going anywhere after a day at the beach. These restaurant could not be beat for quality and price of food anywhere on the island (believe me - we ate out quite a bit). The beach is beautiful and we are sorry we waited until the last evening of our vacation to spend at the cliffside pool watching the sunset - absolutely breath-taking - just beautiful! We had a little rain - but the location made up for it and with this front seat to the sea. "Location, location, location" - and this is one of the best locations you will ever find that will allow you to stay on a budget - yet lets you live in luxury if you prefer! Also, the detail and organized information within the condo that the owner provides keeps "things to do" and things to know right at your finger tips. Much respect for the owner who is passionate about "Paradise"! Thanks, Sue for everything!!! Can't wait to come back!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our family stayed at Paradise June 4th-June 12th. The condo was very comfortable, clean and well maintained. The balcony is huge and great for watching sunrises and morning coffee. The location is great because you have only about 10 minutes to Red Hook and about 15 minutes to Charlotte Amalie. Some of our favorite beaches were Sapphire and Coki. We got alot of use out ot the beach chairs, noodles and cooler that were available for our use! The "cliff-side" pool had a great view and we watched the cruise ships leaving port a few times. The other pool closest to the condo was very nice and most of the time we were the only ones there in the evening! This was our second family vacation to St Thomas and we hope to back again soon! We had a wonderful time. The condo was EXACTLY like the photos, which is not always the way it is. Very accurate. Bolongo Beach was just as photos showed. Location was great, in center of everything. Property was very clean and well maintained and everything you need for a great time. Owner had awesome organized books that suggested anything you would possibly want to do or any restaurant you would like to visit. Great suggestions, and very available online for questions before arrival, especially if it's your first time to St. Thomas. Owner made me feel very comfortable booking on line. I would recommend this vacation spot/condo to everyone. Best activity I feel is the Breakaway Boating out of Sapphire Beach.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Paradise is one step away! Step up on that plane and never look back! Listen, folks, I am from San Diego, California where we take great pride in our sunshine and vacation offerings. Nothing, nothing compares to this Caribbean jewel. I had the time of my life staying in this condo. I left the rat race of southern California behind me and found total relaxation the moment I entered this beautiful home away from home. All of my expectations were exceeded. Breathtaking views, soothing sounds of waves from below the deck, fantastic fun with nightlife activities better than Vegas, water sports galore, and sightseeing a plenty I guarantee this is one of the best vacations I've ever had! You can't go wrong renting this place. The home's owners catered to my every need. They were honest, gracious hosts who offered the best of everything in their accomodations. Sue knows the Island like the back of her hand. If you need ideas on fun things to do while you're on the island, ask Sue. She'll steer you in the right direction for fun, relaxation, shopping, or sightseeing. The condo is in a prime location for all of your needs. It is centrally located to provide access to great day trips, yet offers the serenity of a paradise home we all desperately seek during our time off. Since I've been back to civilization, my mind drifts off frequently to my wonderful experiences at Paradise condo in Bolongo Bay. I daydream constantly and can't wait to return. I know it's five o'clock somewhere and that somewhere is this condo at Bolongo Bay. Oh, good grief, I'll go ask my husband if we can go NOW!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We would highly recommend this listing on beautiful Bolongo Bay. It was conveniently located for all our activities. We enjoyed all three of the restaurants on site. Talk about convenience!! The condo was exactly as pictured. The kitchen was quite small, but we spent almost no time INSIDE the condo. The best feature of the condo was its very large balcony, where we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast and drinks at dusk, while overlooking the spectacular vista of Bolongo Bay. If we never left the balcony, we would have been satisfied with our visit. Although there was plenty to do right there at the resort, I would highly recommend a day at both Coki Beach and Magens Bay. A day trip to St John's is also recommended, especially Trunk Bay where there is amazing snorkeling. Coki Beach was aslo excellent for snorkeling. No skills needed. Just walk steps into the water and you are in sea world. Sue was very thorough in providing helpful information on how to maximize your trip. We will tell our friends about this place.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Each evening the balmy trade winds passed through the screened in patio door cooling our sun kissed skin while the rhythmic waves of the sea lulled us to sleep. Each morning we gradually woke to the suns' warming rays streaming through the window lighting up the day. We felt tremendously refreshed, energized and excited to begin our next day. We found the immaculate condo to be equipped with everything we needed to have a fantastic vacation. There were several well organized binders with loads of information about things to do, places to see, and restaurants to dine at. There were enough bath towels and beach towels available without having to do laundry for a week. There was blender just waiting to mix up tropical juices and rum for island cocktails. Not only was the condo perfectly accommodating for our family of 2 adults and 2 teens but Bolongo Bay also had much to offer. Here are some of our favorite activities. • Snorkeling just off shore where we discovered dozens of different tropical fish and then venturing deeper into the bay where we spied lobsters timidly peering from under the rocks • Having lunch on the condo balcony where we could watch the iguanas basquing in the sun, the stealthy turtles bobbing up for air, or the graceful manta ray perusing in the sea • Later in the afternoon, climbing up the hill to play tennis just before seeing the cruise ships sailing away into the sunset • Finishing the day at one of the 3 beach restaurants that are within a 5 minute walk of the condo • Just before bed hanging out at Iggy's for a beach party or cocktail There were so many wonderful opportunities without even leaving the resort. We wish we were there now. It truly was paradise.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We enjoyed the lovely island of St. Thomas. We managed to swim at all the major beaches. Packed our lunch and a few cold ones, loaded the chairs, tubes, and coolers (thanks Sue and Joe - everyone thought we were locals!), and off we went each morning to explore new beaches.
