Year Purchased: 1995
Mother of three daughters, Registered Nurse Case Manager, and a gardener at heart wants you and your family to enjoy some laughter, love, and happiness while staying in the Virgil Victorian Farmhouse. The home built in 1870 has been updated over the past 15 years with more modern conveniences, but still carries the charm and character of the original home, with some of the original woodwork, with an added Victorian front porch, and deck. The home used to be a working dairy farm and the yellow home just down on the right with the red barn, and pumpkin patch used to be the servants quarters. I hope you enjoy your stay!
Why the Owner Chose Cortland
Decided to convert my former family home into a vacation rental, as the location is near skiing, lakes, Cornell University, and SUNY Cortland; to offer other families the enjoyment I have been surrounded with for years.

Many areas to hike, state land all around the home within 5-10 minutes, enjoy the finger lakes trails, Lime Hollow Nature Center is less than 5 minutes away with trails, easy to challenging. Greek Peak Ski area with Hope Lake is only 10 minutes away, with trails, canoeing, kayaking, swimming. Pyramid Mall in Ithaca 20 minutes away. Within 5-10 minutes in Cortland Walmart, Kmart, Fashion Bug, JcPenney, Payless Shoes, some specialty stores Downtown Cortland. The home is peaceful, surrounded by beauty with endless mountain views, but close to everything.
