Made famous by the filming of Titanic and Pearl Harbor it’s a must for film enthusiasts . . . . . Baja Mar is a championship golf course 20 minutes south with three nine-hole courses. . . Restaurants abound with La Fonda only 5 minutes south in La Mision. For atmosphere and old Mexico charm there is no better ambience. La Palapa de Jose also has live music and the occacional kareoke evening all under a charming thatched roof atmosphere. The Palms is 5 minutes north in Cantamar. Puerto Nuevo, the lobster village, is a very popular mecca with scores of lobster restaurants. . . . . . Deep Sea Sport Fishing is available out of Ensenada. This is also a surfing mecca for waves and privacy away from the crowded waters of California. K38 is a well known reef break and La Mision below La Fonda a popular beach break.
