We found our little slice of paradise here on the island of St. Thomas. The lush tropical setting, the flowering plants and trees, the palms, the iguanas, the gulls, the pelicans, the frigate birds, the manta rays, all can be viewed from our deck. Enjoy year round fun in the sun or just relax and get away from it all at our oceanfront condo. Located seaside in the Bolongo Bay area, our condo offers an unrestricted view of Buck Island and the beautiful turquoise Caribbean waters. Tropical breezes gently blow across the deck. Watch the cruise ships enter and exit the access to the harbor. Fantastic sunsets from the deck and kitchen area. Dramatic pool setting overlooking the rocks and ocean. The patio doors from the main living area affprd an unrestricted view of the ocean and sky. The setting is not only tropical but tranquil and only twenty minutes from downtown or the airport.
Watergate Villas, Sea Cliff and Regatta Point are all condos that are part of an overall complex. You may chose to visit any of the three pools in the complex. The Sea Cliff pool is located at the end of your building hanging atop a cliff offering magnificent views of the sunset. Regatta Pool is located in their center courtyard and also has a dive pool adjacent. the Watergate pool is oceanside at the bottom of the hill and along the path toward the Bolongo Bay resort. The Bolongo Bay Beach Resort, which offers a a dive boat, PADI dive shop, a catamaran(Heavenly Days)with snorkeling and sunset cruises as well as other water sports rentals is within walking distance. Enjoy beach volleyball, basketball, tennis, snorkeling, swimming or an inviting hammock on the beach for your relaxation pleasure. Just a short trip down that sandy beach is an award winning beach bar, Iggie's, with nightly entertainment. There are three restaurants, Mim's Seaside Bistro(casual & fine dining), Iggie's Beach Bar (very casual and fun, good food)and the Lobster Grille (casual & Island elegant fine dining), all within walking distance.
There is lots to see and do on St. Thomas, whether it is historical sightseeing, visiting tourist locations like Coral World, spending time on our beautiful beaches, taking side trips to St.John, Tortola or Virgin Gorda (the Baths), shopping in our duty free port or just LIMMIN' (island for relaxing). Let the sound of the waves lull you to sleep and the glorious sunrises awaken you.

Why the Owner Chose Bolongo Bay
We wanted oceanfront property that had an unrestricted view of the ocean. This property was purchased to be an investment property that we would turn around. But when I moved down early by myself to start a job, I moved in and fell in love. It is cozy, quiet and as close as you can get to the water. There are rainbows in the morning and the most fabulous sunsets in the evenings. Just ask my grown children, they have seen all the thousands of pictures. We love the location, the view, the quiet, yet the proximity to restaurants and beach bars. We are away from the bustle of town but not secluded or isolated. It is safe and secure and I have no qualms about being by myself on property. It has a nice mix of relaxation and stimulation; whatever you are in the mood for.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
Since we live in the area, we enjoy listening to the waves and let that lull us to sleep each night. We seldom ever turn on our air conditioning because we love the breeze that wafts throughout the house. We enjoy feeding our hummingbirds and bananaquits and watching their antics. We have started and are working on a little deck garden. We spend a lot of time by the pool relaxing and take a dip daily. We enjoy entertaining our friends and showing them our island home and surroundings when they come to visit. At this point in our life it fits our needs and desires, it is where we want to be.
Owner's Map of Bolongo Bay
Owners are local St. Thomas residents who moved to St. Thomas four years ago looking for our own little slice of paradise. We are semi-retired professionals who were looking for a tropical ocean setting to play and relax. Just over two years ago we joined friends and family in our own backyard to celebrate our wedding here on the beach. We start our day as the sun comes up with it's glorious blaze of colors. Then it's a leisurely stroll on the beach to get our daily island newspaper followed by breakfast on our deck while we watch the antics of the hummingbirds and bananaquits as they feed and play. We end our days by watching the clouds reflect the colors of the sunset from around the point and at bedtime the sound of the waves lulls us to sleep. We are truly enjoying our little slice of paradise.
