My family (wife and three kids - 13, 10, and 6) spent a week at this property...it was fantastic. The property was in great shape and was exactly as advertised. Patty was our remote tour guide giving us many valuable tips on dining, tours, sights and much more. The property is located on the Northside which is away from busy cruise ship infested seven mile beach. The unit was perfect for our family of five. She has bins with beach toys, pool toys, snorkeling equipment, etc. The pool is great and the snorkeling off the dock is amazing. Rum Point Beach is located just 15 to 20 minutes and is a great place to spend the day (we spent 3 days there). Stingray City is another great place to visit. Tukka, Over the Edge, and Cassanova by the Sea (Georgetown) were the families favorite restaurants. We hope to get back again and will definitely stay here.

We first visited Grand Cayman and stayed at Northern Exposure in March 2010. We loved it so much that we came back for a return visit in March 2012! We can't imagine accomodations anywhere else that could be more perfect for us than this beautifully maintained home. It was just as we remembered but better! The location is perfect - away from the craziness of 7 mile beach, private, but easy driving distance to restaurants, grocery stores and our favorite, Rum Point. Both times, though, we found that once we arrived, we really didn't want to leave. The views are spectacular and the best snorkeling on the island is right in front of the condo. Everything that you could possibly need is provided..pool toys, beach towels, fins, coolers, a charcoal grill, etc. We took full advantage of the well stocked kitchen on both visits, saving a ton of money as eating out in GC is very expensive and there's no better view than the one from the downstairs lanai dining area! As someone else recommended, check out what's there before you hit the grocery store, as there's an ample supply of most staples. We used what was there, replaced what we used and left more in its place. It's obvious in all the details how much Patty and Kurt love their island home and once you've stayed here, it's easy to see why! We can't wait to go back again and again!

Our stay here was fantastic! It was so nice to have "a place of our own" instead of staying at a hotel. This condo is on the East side of the island near Old Man Bay. It is very quiet and peaceful compared to the West end of the island where Seven Mile Beach is and all of the tourist stuff. Grand Cayman is usually known for more of a touristy, commercial type atmosphere. That certainly does exist, and it is there for those who are looking for it. Also, however, is the lesser known laidback side of the island that is much, much quieter. That is where this condo is. I have to tell you, we went to the "tourist" side for one day and could not wait to get back to "our" side of the island. There are many things to do on the East side of the island as well. It just feels more comfortable. Almost like you live there instead of just visiting. Patty really went out of her way to make us feel welcomed in the condo. It was such a relaxing atmosphere. The ability to buy groceries and have a full kitchen at your fingertips was great. Not only does it save time and money, but it allows you to have a spontaneous pick-nick or adventure by just grabbing some snacks (healthy ones) and heading out the door. One place we do recommend to eat is Over The Edge. Great food, great view, great prices. It's just down the road, too, so no need to go to the other side of the island. Rum Point is also a popular place for food and drink. I also think a must do is a visit to Stingray City. It's a sandbar that can only be reached by boat where you will get in waist deep to chest deep water and hang out with stingrays! Yep, wild stingrays swimming around you and brushing up against your leg like a cat. And not just a couple either. I would say there's about 20 or so in the area at any one time. I do recommend finding the smallest boat/group available. It makes for a much less commercialized experience. Overall, my wife and I HIGHLY recommend this place. It's not a question of will we stay here again, it's when.

Loved our stay at this beautiful property. Nothing left to chance - perfect attention to detail at every turn. A kitchen that was fully stocked with every tool needed to cook in. COMFORTABLE upscale furnishings, beds that you could actually get a great nights sleep on and plush towels, no sandpaper here! Very obvious that this condo is not "just a rental" it is a second home. The owners are fantastic, communicating everything we needed to know prior to our arrival which made the trip so much more enjoyable. The views were amazing, the location perfect for a relaxing get away and a total departure from the chaos of 7 Mile beach with all the cruise traffic. We will be back next year!

We visited GC in late July. I was really interested in finding a location off the beaten path, but close enough not to feel like civilization was a day away. This place fit the desire perfectly! The condo is really comfortable.....very nice and clean. It was well appointed with all the necessary items. Towels, dishes, cookware, ice chests, etc!!! The snorkeling right off the beach is superb!! I have snorkeled all over the Bahamas and the snorkeling right off the beach was as good as I've ever seen. There are no currents to be concerned with, and we saw many interesting fish (eels, lionfish, triggerfish, cowfish, lobster, octopus, etc.) on the reef. There are great restaurants close by (LOVED TUKKA!) and there are also grocery and liquor stores close by too. My suggestions is to visit the house BEFORE you go to the grocery store. Take stock of what is there then go purchase your supplies. We left lots of "staple" items in the kitchen, and it looked like other had done the same (which is a good thing!!). :0) I just can't say enough good things about this great place. Look no further and go ahead and book this fabulous condo.

This condo and our stay exceeded our idea of paradise. The owners provided fantastic resources before we made the trip and the condo is even more beautiful and restful than the pictures can convey. Every modern comfort is at your fingertips, and the pool, water and beach are as fantastic as anywhere on the island! It's quiet and yet a short drive from spots you may want to see such as tropical Rum Point or bustling George Town. Snorkeling is fantastic in the calm clear water, but you can see much marine life from the dock, too! This spot is well worth every penny and more. We've visited Hawaii, and most of the Caribbean islands, but this was by far the best.

It must be very hard for the owners to leave this piece of paradise. There is no better place to rent on the island. The owners have thought of everything and provide the perfect place to decompress. Can not wait to go back.

We recently rented this property for our family vacation and had an amazing time! The rental provided everything that we needed and more including a few special treats like the beach and pool toys, movies which our daughter loved and lots of great amenities. The property was beautiful, very clean, well maintained and perfectly located steps away from the pool that we swam in every day and the beach which was great for our little ones who are 4 and 1 years old. We snorkeled off the pier and saw some of the most beautiful coral and fish. We loved staying away from the crowds of Georgetown and being at the north side of the island but still minutes away from great restuarants with great fresh fish and our favorite beach at Rum Point. We spent a few perfect beach days there, ate dinner and hopped aboard the Spirit of Poseidon and headed to Stingray City. We rented a car and had a great time driving around and exploring the island. The owners were very helpful in assisting us with what we needed for our youngest and provided a wealth of information to help make our vacation perfect. We highly recommend this rental property to anyone planning a trip to Grand Cayman. You will not be disappointed!

Felt right at home as soon as we walked through the door. Kitchen is fully equipped. Very quiet which we LOVE. Awesome pool for the kids. Minutes away from Rums Point many restaurants and other attractions. Definitely try Sting Ray City and snorkeling. Owners are very helpful, answered all of our questions promptly and even sent us info on the island. Definitely ranks up there as one of my favorite vacations.

This condo was everything as described by the owners, and more- more beautiful, restful, well maintained and exquisitely decorated. The owners were very informative, not only about the property and it's amenities but also nearby services, such as car rental, shopping, dining and entertainment. We found their recommendations to be "right on." They were also very attentive to our needs and questions; responding promply to our inquiries. The condo, pool and beach were very clean and well maintained and made for an unforgettable and delightful week celebrating our wedding anniiversary. We would like to add that this property is located on the quiet and peaceful north side of the island. yet convenient to Georgetown. We highly recommend this condo for a wondeful vacation in the Caymans.

We stay at this condo every time we visit Grand Cayman. It's a very lovely townhouse, clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated and landscaped. It's on the quiet side of the island, away from the crowds, but centrally located on the North Side--so it's within a short driving distance to many attractions (Queen Elizabeth II Botanic Park, Rum Point beach, restaurants). I like to start the day by taking a cup of coffee/breakfast down to the covered pier and watching the sunrise. On calm days the snorkeling around the pier is awesome (coral reef). World-class diving area is just a little further directly out from the shore (no need to rent a dive boat--many tank divers simply swim to the dive area). King bed is very comfortable, and the sound of surf lulls you to sleep. Pool is really nice, clean, and only about 15--20 steps away from the screened-in porch. Kitchen well stocked with dishes and cookware, so cooking meals is easy. Rum Point (beach) is just down the road about 7 miles (11.5 km), and is one of our favorite spots on the island (picnic tables, hammocks, beautiful white sand beach). There are several restaurants on the North Side -- Over the Edge and Portofino's are 2 we really enjoyed. HIGHLY recommend this condo.

Northern Exposure was the perfect spot for our family vacation! My husband and I loved the privacy at the condo, but with a short drive we enjoyed the excitement of an evening in Georgetown and an afternoon on Seven Mile Beach (which was perfect for our teenagers!). It's really the best of both worlds! Everything about the condo was in great condition. We went in July and had the place practically to ourselves! The pool was lovely and that private dock so beautiful you'll be busy with the camera when you're not slipping in to snorkle. If you go.. WHEN you go be sure to book a trip to Sting Ray Sandbar (AWESOME!) from Rum Point. We were on a boat with 10 people (we were six of them) compared to the boats from Seven Mile Beach where more like 40 or 50 tourists were onboard. Lots of personal attention from the crew and lots of interaction with the stingrays! Big advantages to this quiet side of Grand Cayman!
