This house was completely amazing! It had all the ameneties that were listed and the house itself was very well upkept and clean for our arrival. The location was great due to the proximity to the beach, resturants, and local stores. We stayed over Thanksgiving week and the weather was perfect. The shopping for our Thanksgiving meal was stress free due to the markets in the area and the amazing food selection. Lori and her staff helped us plan our flights to the island and had transportation available at the airport for us once we arrived. The food and people were amazing. I highly recommend this vacation home! (Thank you to Lori and her staff for making our stay effortless and enjoyable!)

Lori, Words do not describe how impressed my family and I are with your house. Simply put, AMAZING! My entire family rented the whole house, being there is much better than the photos can describe. This house is not like any standard Vieques house, this house was well planned and well taken care of, it even had two car ports and can fit up to 6 cars. Starting with the caretaker's dilligence, he picked us up from the airport and took us to the car rental and patiently waited. He then took us to the house and showed us all of the features the house had to offer. Fully air-conditioned, this house is HUGE! none of my 14 family members bumped into each other, everyone had their own space and were very impressed by how clean, well decorated and furnished this house was. In addition, the outside was professionally landscaped and manicured, which made the very large pool even more remarkable, day or night. Aside of the pool, it had additional features that we all loved, such as the BBQ, XBOX for the kids, WI-FI, Beach chairs, umbrellas, beach coolers, bikes, ETC, which helped us in our trip packing. Definitely a worry-free trip since we flew and had a 25lb limit per passenger, a light bag will do just fine. All of my friends and family were very pleased with your house and we are already planning a future visit in the near future. Thank you and Kudos for Aurelio.

My family and I spent 5 days at Casa Piedra Grande and we loved it! The house is very well furnished and maintained. The house has everything you could need and more. We all enjoyed lounging by the pool after exploring the island and beaches everyday. The town of Esperanza is adorable and we loved walking (a short walk) to the market for food supplies or the restaurants on the water for lunch and dinner. The owner and I exchanged many emails and she always responded quickly with answers to all my questions and more! I recommend renting a Jeep and exploring the many beaches. We loved Blue Beach for swimming and relaxing and Green Beach for snorkeling. The snorkeling is great....the highlight was seeing a sea turtle the last day! Abe's BioBay Tour is a must do as well. I highly recommend renting Casa Piedra Grande on Vieques for your vacation!

This house is a gem. It is one of the best houses in town. The pool is wonderful, the views breathtaking with 200 degree view of the carribean. It is within walking distance of bars and restaurants, a store and bakery. We can't wait to return.

Our family of 6 adults and 3 children just stayed at 'Casa Piedra Grande' from Jan. 3rd to Jan. 7th. Aurelio, the property manager, had transportation waiting for us at the Ferry Terminal to take us to the house, then he took the guys in the group to rent a car, he was very helpful. The house is lovely with all the ammenities one would expect. We loved the upstairs apartment, it is actually nicer than the pictures reflect, also, the views from the upstairs terraces are breathtaking. For the early risers, you can enjoy an awesome sunrise, what a better way to start the day? The swimming pool was a hit with the kids, as well as the adults; such a beautiful setting, whether swimming or just relaxing by the pool, it was paradise! The house is located just up the hill from El Malecon (boardwalk). It was a short walk to all the shops and waterside restaurants. There is a bakery and two food markets just down the hill, about a block away from the house (one opened during the day, the other was open fairly late into the night). This is a residential neighborhood and it was very safe to walk around late in the evening, the locals are very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We rented a car and so were able to visit some of the many beautiful and prestine beaches, all within a short drive away. One place we enjoyed having lunch when we were on our way to or from the beach was 'El Resuelve' and outdoor, not fancy place, but with deliciious island food. We also visited the 'W' hotel for drinks one night after having dinner at 'El Patio Restaurant'' in Isabel Segundo. We didn't get to do the Bio Bay Tours so we definitely have to return to do that. The location and everything about this house is great, I would definitely recommend it to my family and friends. Hoping to get back there next year. Last but not least, Lori the owner was extremely helpful with any and all the questions we had before and after we were there.

Me and my husband just honeymooned at Casa Piedra Grande and it was wonderful! The listing and their website is 100% accurate. Actually the pictures do not even do it justice. Beds are comfortable, house has A/C which many others do not there, pool is huge with beautifully landscaped yard, the balcony views are amazing and breezy plus the price can not be beat. The owners are very helpful with your vacation planning and always there if needed. The house is in a neighborhood with the locals. Can get noisy, but what is the point of going somewhere different if you do not meet anyone! Plus there is a bakery and a market one block away. I recommend this property 100%

This house is unbelievable. Plenty of room, both upstairs and down. Beautifully furnished, right down to color-coordinated towels, kitchen ware, etc. We loved having coffee on the porch, overlooking the water and listening to the local morning sounds. The salt water pool was just the ticket as a morning wake-up, an after beach swim or night time star gazing. The house is located very close to shopping and a few great restaurants. A booklet put together by the owners provided info about where to go and what to do. They re also more than willing to give any tips over the phone and a property manager is always close by. Incredible snorkeling right from the beach is only a short drive away at several beaches. There is also great shelling, sea glass hunting, horseback riding. What more could you want? We fully intend on staying here again.

Best vacation ever. This house is absolutely beautiful. It is close to shopping and great restaurants. The malecon provides great night life for adults. My family had so much fun exploring the island and different beaches!! My husband even caught fish right on the beach!! This was our 3rd. trip to the island and we've stayed at this house all 3 times. Wouldn't stay anywhere else!!

We rented the entire house for 4 days and had the perfect vacation experience. It's location facilitated us to walk to "el malecon" (Ezperanza town's main street) where all the nightlife was at, and permitted us to be at a short 5 min drive from the best beaches. The entire house was spotless clean, the living spaces are modern and up kept, the beds were very comfortable and the pool and air conditioning throughout the house sure came in handy after a hot day at the beach! There's also a bakery and supermarket within walking distance which made our grocery and supplies shopping really easy. Thanks again for your awesome hospitality and the opportunity to stay at this beautiful, perfectly located home.

Eight friends and I spent a week at Casa Grand Piedra last spring to celebrate birthdays. The house held all of us comfortably with lots of shared space in the living areas. We were rarely inside! The pool is a dream and the huge covered porches upstairs, coupled with cozy furniture, were just what we wanted on a fantastic vacation. Esperanza is home to great food and bars and is an easy walk from the house. Renting a car is the way to go in order to get around the island to all of the spectacular beaches. This home was the best place to come home to after every adventure - beautiful views, hilltop breeze, and pool. The owner and property manager were so great to work with and gave lots of good recommendations for what to do/see during our stay.

We visited this property in December, 2009. The weather was perfect. The spacious porches provided wonderful areas to enjoy the tropical breezes and the awesome views of the Caribbean. Everything you need is provided. The kitchens are well equipped, my husband enjoyed the many sport channels on the TVs, area information is at your fingertips, and a property manager is just a call away if needed. There are also beach chairs and towels for the beach. The property was very clean and the sleeping areas were quite comfortable. The salt water pool was nice for an evening swim. The location of the house gave you excellent views as well as easy access to grocery stores, a bakery/pizzeria, and several excellent restaurants (all within walking distance). We felt like we had visited "paradise". Vieques is an island of adventure and beauty. We plan to visit here and use this property again this winter.
