Quiet Winding Streets & Funky Boutiques: Sacre Coeur, the Moulin Rouge, the Lapin agile, the Museum of Montmartre and the last remaining wine vineyard in Paris are all located in Montmartre. Visit the Bateau Lavoir, one time home Picasso and Braque. Walk through streets immortalized by the paintings of Toulouse-Lautrec and Utrillo and the photographs of Robert Doisneau. You can see the Moulin de la Galette that Renoir once painted, or catch a movie in the tiny Studio 28 and see the interior decorated by Jean Cocteau.

This area of Paris is best known for its quiet winding streets, its funky boutiques and cafes, the famous artists who once lived here, and unexpected glimpses of the magnificent Parisian skyline. As Montmartre is the highest point in Paris, the views one can stumble upon are breathtaking. In Montmartre one truly feels as if they are in a tiny French village, while still being a part of this magical city known as Paris.
