This is a three story house with a two bedroom apartment on the third floor with a gas fireplace and all three floors are serviced by an elevator and a wooden spiral staircase. All three floors have decks overlooking the water and this is low bank with only a few steps down to the beach. When the tide is high and you are sitting on the first floor deck, it feels like you are in a boat. The master bedroom is very large on the second floor and has a gas fireplace. Another bedroom and full bath are on the second floor as well as a laundry room. The first floor has a full bath, large kitchen with bar stools; a large family room with gas fireplace and a dining room looking out over the water that seats 8 comfortably. The first floor deck is large with a gas barbeque and outside dining for 10. Many large windows to take in the breathtaking views of Puget Sound looking north and the Cascade Mountains.

This home has been in our family for many years and has been extensively remodeled within the last few years including a two bedroom apartment on the third floor and an elevator. We all have very fond memories of growing up on the beach at Redondo and before our dad died he did extensive remodeling to expand and preserve this very unique property.
Why the Owner Chose Federal Way
If we were to choose a location for a home on Puget Sound to buy, it would be exactly where this home is located. It is very close to everything but yet quiet and secluded with an unbelievable view of the Olympic Mountains and Puget Sound looking north. whether there is a winter storm or 80 degrees and sunshine, this beach home is inviting and comfortable with lots to do.
The Unique Benefits of this House
Taking long walks on the beach; enjoying a fire around the fire pit with friends or family in the evenings; boating and water sports; watching birds, sea lions and sometimes whales right off the deck; going to bed at night listening to the waves lapping on the bulkhead below and smelling the clean fresh salt air that clears your head; walking on the boardwalk to Redondo and having dinner on the deck at salty's; reading a book on the deck or taking a nap; taking a run on the beach; having friends and family over to spend the day on the water.
