Take the perfect vacation at our beautiful beach house located in gated Monarch Bay, CA. Our home is located on PCH with spectacular views and private beach club amenities. One story house w/teak hardwood floors, spacious kitchen and 4 full baths. Kid-friendly home with many activities on site or nearby. Enjoy sunny beach days or stroll into nearby Laguna Beach and enjoy the sights . Our home is located between Laguna Beach and Dana Point Harbor-5 minutes to the North and South. Great dining, shopping and many festivals throughout the year.
Our home is in a private, guard gated neighborhood w/ flat streets for bicycle riding or early morning jog. Our beach house is also located within a short walking distance of the beach. Private Monarch Bay Club offers all the extras including chairs, umbrellas, towels, beach toys,etc. The secluded beach is the perfect get away for everyone-relax, listen to the waves and watch the sunset! This is a wonderful location in Southern California with many great restaurants, stores, and activities. Our home has a private jacuzzi and bar-b-que and an oversized yard with hammocks, for those who want to sit back and relax. Our home also offers a formal living room with fireplace and 42 inch plasma television and separate family room. **I use a separate calendar, so please send email for desired dates! Why the Owner Chose Monarch Beach
We chose this area because it is a great place to live/vacation. The neighborhood is located on Pacific Coast Highway and is a wonderful place to live with friendly people and tons of kids. We chose this area because it is a quiet, safe and healthy environment to raise children. The beach is located within a short walking distance from our home and the location is perfect-Laguna Beach is 5 minutes to the South and Dana Point Harbor is 5 minutes to the North. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet and the private beach club is an extra bonus! It's a perfect place to live and the perfect vacation spot!

My husband and I bought this house in 2001 and lived there with our 4 daughters until recently-it is a great house in a terrific location-Southern California at its best. Great area, with friendly neighbors, many kids and a down to earth, beachy feel.

If you are looking for a beach get away in a safe and laid back environment,this place is for you and your family.The property is very comfortable with a great kitchen.You can walk to a gorgeous beach and also walk to restaurants,shops and a grocery store.The property owner was available to answer questions but gave you complete privacy.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

My husband, our baby, and my two adult siblings stayed for three nights over Memorial weekend. We didn't know the area too well and were extremely pleased when we pulled into the beautiful gated community on the coast. The house was great for us. The master bedroom was on one side of the u-shaped house and was good for us and our early baby morning riser. The other guests could sleep in longer in the two bedrooms which were separated by a spacious living room and large beautiful kitchen. We really liked the layout of the house with the courtyard in the middle. We enjoyed morning hot tubs, afternoons at the beautiful Monarch beach (walking/biking distance), late afternoons with cocktails in the backyard and evening barbecues and dinners in a comfortable atmosphere. My husband and I are already discussing making this an annual tradition. We had a great time!
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers, tourists without a car.

We hosted a family reunion, welcoming home our Mariine. This house offers great indoor and outdoor space. Super kitchen area for gathering and sharing meals. Plenty of bathrooms and sleeping space - very comfortable and well appointed. The beach area is beautiful, great for walks and watching the sunset. We highly recommend and will be back ourselves.

We stayed at this beautiful 3bed/4bath beach house for thanksgiving weekend of 2009. The house is beautiful, comfortable, well-equipped with all the amenities and luxury. All bathrooms are spacious and clean, the master bathroom is really beautiful. There are ample sofas, chairs and extra comforters to cuddle up :) Kitchen is great too with all new equipments. The front courtyard of the home is gorgeous! Its a good design to have a common courtyard accessible to everyone in the home from almost all rooms, open to sky and yet secure with the front door closed. We all could gather there, chat and relax under the starry night. The gated community gives a feeling of security and you can peacefully enjoy your vacation without worrying about anything. We all fell in love with the peaceful and calm, clean private beach this home offers! It was such a great luxury to just relax on the beach for hours looking out at the beautiful ocean. The beach club offered chairs, umbrellas and towels too. The owners are really friendly, responded very nicely to any questions we had and provided detailed information about nearby hangout places, restaurants. I would recomend this home to everyone looking for a perfect luxurious peaceful beach vacation! We are already planning for another pleasant vacation at this place!!!! :)
