Ka'anapali Shores Resort is a favorite spot for return visitors to Maui, year after year. The resort does an excellent job of keeping this 10 acre property manicured in the essence of Hawaiiana surrounding you throughout the resort. Hand carved Hawaiian Canoe displayed in the lobby gives you a taste of the Hawaiian Culture. Tropical plants beautifully displayed throughout the resort magnifies the fact that you are in Hawaii. Amenities located directly on the property include: two pools, two hot tubs, a convenience store, beauty salon, clothing store with a selection of Hawaiian attire for pool or leisure, tennis courts, bar-b-que, “My Flower Shop” a flourist, koi ponds, a restaurant and bar. You are invited to join the weekly free luau/hula show.
Grocery shopping conveniently located across the street at the Star Market Shopping Center. The deli offers great sandwiches and fresh local dishes daily. Two favorites are the salad bar and fresh sushi. There is a Farmer's Market just about a block away for those extra special fruits and vegetables. For the fresh fish lover, there is a fish market about two blocks away.
Our condo offers an exceptional view from the 9th floor Penthouse level. We are just a few minutes from Lahaina Town for endless shopping and restaurant choices. We consider our location the center or hub of the island near Whaler’s Village, Kapalua and Lahaina Town with the picturesque atmosphere of a charming leisure resort.

We purchased this property because we fell in love with the view (from our unit) and the grounds at Kaanapali Shores Resort.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
We enjoy spending time around the pool, at the beach and on the lanai watching people having a good time on their vacation. The view from our unit is great, you can see the grounds of the Kaanapali Shores at the same as appreciating the view of the ocean and nearby islands.

My wife Petra and myself have been visiting Maui for the last 21 years. Each time we come to Maui, we have a great time enjoying the beaches, weather, activities and family oriented Hawaiian environment.
Petra lived in Dusselhorf, Germany until she was 16 and thenmoved to Southern California. Having both lived in Southern California, we love good weather and the beach. Some day we hope to move to Maui so that we can always enjoy all that Maui has to offer.

Recently my husband and I stayed in this condo for 8 nights and were very happy with both our choice of property and condo. The condo was on the top floor and had a lovely view of the property, ocean and neighboring island of Molokai. It consisted of 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, full size kitchen, lounge, dining area and even had a washer / dryer. It was well equipped with everything you could think of including beach towels, beach chairs, boogie board, flippers, esky etc. The renovated unit was in very good condition and well maintained. The property has 2 pools, a small garden pool and a larger pool near the ocean and on-site restaurant. The grounds of the resort are well maintained and laid out. Parking was $9 a day paid directly to the resort and there was always ample parking spaces available. Across the street is a Times supermarket which sells everything and at the Cannery Mall in Lahaina there was also a Safeway. Each morning we had breakfast on the lanai and it was a lovely way to start the day. The sunsets each evening either on the beach or sitting on the lanai were simply beautiful. My husband and I loved our stay at this condo and would definitely stay here again.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Just returned from a one week stay and I can't say enough about the hotel or the condo we rented. Very clean, friendly staff, convienent location. Okay, one thing about the condo - the pull out bed is terrible, the mattress has had the bun so you get the metal bar in the back. Other than that minor detail we had a fantastic time and can't wait to return next year.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My husband and I just returned from spending 3 weeks in Maui and specificially this property. We absolutely loved it here. This property is spotless, well maintained and the view is spectacular. We watched the whales each morning as we enjoyed our coffee.The grounds of this complex are beautiful and it is convenient to Lahania and Whalers Village. Snorkling at Blackrock is only 5 - 10 minutes away by car. The grocery store across the street is great!. We will be definately putting this on our return list. We did not want to leave here, we couldn't ask for a better place to vacation.
Recommended for:Age 55+.
