Gateway to the Up Country has winter vistas of the surrounding country side providing views of Glassy Mountain, the city of Pickens, the North Western corner of South Carolina, Northern Georgia and Western North Carolina. There are several lakes, state parks, federal parks and national forest with in short driving distances of the property. If you want a night out on the town, the greater Greenville area is located approximately 30 minutes drive from the property. You will find malls, theaters and many restaurants in the area.
