Calypso Villa completed in August 2009 is destined to become one of the islands favorite destinations. Calypso villa is a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom house featuring large interiors and spacious outdoor decks and patios. Each bedroom has it's own private bathroom and two of the bathrooms feature gorgeous outdoor showers. All of the bedrooms are equipped with either King or Queen Size Beds, air conditioning, flat panel TV's and ceiling fans.
The villa's living spaces feature expansive walls of glass doors that maximize the views and allow for the very best in Caribbean indoor-outdoor living, The entire house was designed and situated on the property to take advantage of the prevailing trade winds and to maximize the expansive views of the Caribbean sea. This thoughtful design provides numerous shady porches where guests can escape the midday heat or go to the sun drenched pool deck that is the ideal spot for fun in the sun.
Calypso Villa is located in an exclusive residential neighborhood in the Valley, Virgin Gorda and is a short 5 minute walk to the beach at Crook's Bay beach. The villa is ideally located less than 5 minutes drive from a dozen restaurants, the Virgin Gorda Yacht Harbor, all of the island's grocery stores and a half dozen world class beaches including The Baths, Devils Bay, Spring Bay and Big Trunk Bay. The location is ideal for enjoying the very best of Virgin Gorda.
The villa has a fully equipped chef's kitchen with brand new appliances. Throw in a wonderful pool, two private outdoor bedroom showers and all the amenities of home and it is easy to see how Calypso Villa has all the makings of the ideal Caribbean vacation.

The house was built on this location to capture the spectacular southern views of Round Rock, Fallen Jerusalem and Ginger Island together with the easterly trade winds that flow through the house, making the air conditioning a rare requirement. Virgin Gorda is not a resort - it is a real island where people live real lives and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Our villa was built to blend in to that culture - not to stand out. We are also very convenient to the best grocery shopping and island restaurants for your nutritional needs. We have a wonderful concierge service that will meet you when you arrive on the island and introduce you to the villa. They will also provide you with any help you may request during your holiday.

Carol and I built this house after 20 years of visiting Virgin Gorda and the BVI. We kept coming back through the years and all the things we liked about Virgin Gorda never changed. No traffic lights, no high rise hotels, just beautiful beaches, beautiful views and friendly people. Our two boys, Sam and Will (14 and 12) always love to come to the house, except now they are starting to think about coming without us.
