My husband, 10 year old son and I just returned home from one of the best vacations.......... thanks to Calypso Villa! We have visited Virgin Gorda several times in the past, as well as other islands in the caribbean. Calypso Villa is, by far, one of the nicest villas we have rented. Everything is very well stocked and we wouldn't have changed a thing. Relaxing and beautiful!!!!!!!

This villa is AWESOME. We travel a lot and stay and great places, but this is one of the best! Well equipped is an understatement. Kitchen for a chef, snorkeling and beach gear, cold drinks awaiting for us - movies, games etc, etc etc. Howard was the best, very helpful and Maria did a great job of cleaning for us every day. This villa is where you want to be on the island, close to The Baths and Spring Bay beaches. And the views are fantastic the decor superb. We will definitely be back. Most people that come to Virgin Gorda keep coming back and this villa will just make that all the easier. Thank you to John and Carol for sharing their beautiful bit of paradise

Calypso Villa is simply fabulous. Breathe taking views from the pool, indoor-outdoor living area, bedrooms and even the outdoor showers. Private balconies off the bedrooms are the perfect place to relax with your morning coffee. The villa is perfectly designed to take advantage of the prevailing breeze in all rooms and patios. The pool setting in the professionally landscaped yard is stunning. The Villa is only moments away from world class beaches, snorkeling, scuba diving, sailing, deep sea fishing, tennis, casual and fine dining. I’ve been traveling to the BVI’s for the past 27 years and now consider Calypso my new home away. I look forward to many more visits to Calypso Villa….

Soon as we walked through the gate down the garden path and beautifully landscaped tropical garden we were impressed. The new architecturally designed house with a classy casual style looked fantastic. The views of the coastline stunning. The house was beautifully presented, an open plan living area consisting of a very well equipped large kitchen, breakfast bar, dining and lounge. On three sides large glass doors opened up to patios for outside dinning, lounging and swimming pool ( a favorite during the day). The large bedrooms separated yet close to the living area have great bathrooms and stunning views. The location is beautiful, private and peaceful. Loved it and would definitely stay again. This brand-new seaside villa belongs on the cover of one of those glossy travel magazines. Perched on a gently sloping hillside commanding spectacular views of the turquoise Carib, this property with its well-tended tropical garden feels like your own personal paradise. Only 1-2 other homes can be seen from its amazing pool-side verandah, with its big comfy chairs and couch, and the only sound at night is the clinking of ice cubes from whatever you're drinking. It's the perfect spot for kicking back, having a meal or star-gazing. (The stars here are awesome.) Conveniently located a few steps from the kitchen, which for us winos is stocked with some very nice wine glasses, this outdoor space truly makes this place special. Nearby is the master bedroom complete with a telescope to scan the horizon. The property was cleverly designed to fit into the island landscape, so the walk down to the two first floor bedrooms (very large BTW) is partly framed by a real gigantic boulder! Inside the villa there are all the amenities: flat-screen TVs in every room, an IPod dock, wifi access, laundry and a local phone. I personally love the outdoor showers set in stone. Getting around this tiny island is a breeze and beaches for swimming are a short drive away, including the famous Baths. We stayed one week but wished we were there much much longer.

We spent a wonderful week at Calypso and we loved absolutely EVERYTHING about this gorgeous house! From the moment we walked through the gate and through the lush landscaping, we knew we'd selected the perfect vacation villa. The ocean view from every one of the comfortable seating areas, from the beautiful outdoor showers and from every window is just spectacular. The furniture and decorating is lovely throughout the spacious, airy house and every amenity we could have imagined was provided. We happily cooked meals in the well-appointed kitchen and dined al fresco or at the beautiful granite counter. The beds are super comfortable and sleeping with the sound of ocean waves was so relaxing. We hated to leave and will defintily be back to THE most beautiful villa on Virgin Gorda!

What could be better than "THE BEST", that would be Calypso Villa!!! I love rocks, and does this property have them. Quiet, secluded and surreal, having the disorienting, hallucinatory quality of a dream, unreal, fantastic, need I say more. Beside the best island in the Caribbean, this villa has everything you could imagine, and in addition, the best management company on the island, Tropical Care. Flip flops off to Irma and Howard.

The Calypso villa was exactly as described -- no, wait -- better! The WOW factor begins as you enter the property, past the pool and into the amazing indoor/outdoor main living space -- all with a breath-taking view. From the architecture, to the landscaping, to the furniture and indoor design, this is truly a dream house. Each day, the toughest choice was whether to relax in our private paradise or hop in the car for the short (and easy) drive to one of the nearby beautiful beaches. The Baths are great - but well known. My personal favorite was Savannah Bay - a long stretch of beautiful white sand, calm turqoise water, trees for shade, and snorkeling. And because most of the world has not discovered Virgin Gorda, the island is not crowded with tourists. Just neighbors ready with a "Good Morning" and whatever help you might need finding your way to the next hidden cove. At night, we had private parties using the villa's grill and blender, or checked out one of the nearby restaurants. Or if you're in the mood for a bigger party, there's always a great local scene at Yacht Harbor.

The pictures do not even begin to do this house justice! Great place to get away with beautiful ocean views. Wonderful house great for couples and families - plenty of room! Great owners and management team to assist you in anyway. A "must see" in my book, whether you want a place to relax, dive, snorkel or hike!

The house is superbly designed and equiped for a completely relaxing vacation. The location and efficiency of the splendid kitchen allows the chef to participate in the social gathering in the living area and on the stunning patio; that is if he/she is not the center of it in the kitchen. From the patio there are gorgeous views of the unusual granite bouldered coast. Boulders is an inadequate word because many of these rounded monsters are the size of a house and in fact the architect has used them very effectively around and, in some cases, in the house. They create a unique topography which has been very artistically integrated in the delightful landscaping. This creates a very intimate yet exotic ambience for the house. The bedrooms, with their private viewing balconies, and especially their outdoor showers, are wonderfully private and exquisitely comfortable. Together with the swimming pool and the high quality domestic facilities they make the house extremely adaptable to any combination of guests, with or without children, and of any age. The main problem with the house is that it is so tempting to simply stay in and enjoy it that you risk not seeing the fabulous array of perfect beaches that are nestled in the gaps between the granite cliffs around the island. The island has very good roads, modern well maintained rental vehicles, and a very pleasant array of good restaurants. Excellent sailing, snorkeling and scuba facilities are also easily available. My first stay was way too short and I certainly look forward to many more in the future. I wouldn't think about looking elsewhere now that I have the perfect tropical nicheniche
