With breathtaking views outside and a clean, comfortable, air-conditioned inside, this house is a vacationers dream come true! I enjoyed being off of the beach; yet only a quick jaunt away! For anyone seeking the Costa Rican vacation of a lifetime I would stay and suggest staying nowhere else!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This was an amazing place to stay located close to world class surf. Nice open spaces with fabulous views and more bathrooms than you will need! The breezes coming through made it so we didn't need to sit under an annoying air conditioner. We spent a good amount of time on the porch enjoying the view. It is nice to have a full kitchen plus washer and dryer as well. There is a good restaurant at the end of the road if you don't want to cook. You don't need to surf to stay here, there are plenty of other activities.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
Owner response: Thank you so much for your response. I am glad you were able to enjoy the expansive views and the cool ocean breezes. Please think of The Perch for your next Costa Rican adventure. Faith

About the owner: Jeff and I are California natives and ocean enthusiasts. We love surfing and have traveled around the world exploring multiple cultures in search of the perfect wave.
Why the Owner Chose Pavones:
We chose to buy property in Pavones Costa Rica because of the uncrowded surf spots, the warm tropical water and also because it was the best wave either of us had ever surfed! EVER! The bumpy roads and encroaching jungle keep wimpy travelers in Jaco where they belong.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
When we are in Pavones we enjoy the ease of access to all the bounties that Pavones provides. From the abundance of tropical fruit trees right on the property (you can make a mango, papaya, and banana smoothie with out leaving the yard) to the fresh fish caught right out front. We enjoy waking up to the sound of howler monkeys and being able to check the surf without even lifting your head from your pillow.
