A calm oasis in the center of it all, our beautiful wooded home is just three short blocks to the lake at Chambers Landing, two miles from Homewood ski resort, and eight miles to Tahoe City and all it has to offer. Walk down to the beach for a day of fun in the sun, drive or take the public shuttle to the popular family ski resort and hit the slopes, or catch the bike trail at the end of the road and cycle until your heart’s content! And if that isn’t enough to start packing your bags, consider all of the great shopping and fabulous restaurants that await you.
As you pull into the driveway, you can instantly feel your stress and tension start to fade away, as you observe the sunny deck and large open forest just outside your front door. Upon entering the house into the combined family room and open kitchen, the quality of this wonderful home will become obvious, from the charming knotty pine wood ceilings and floors to the very tasteful décor.
The family room is furnished with a sofa and loveseat for generous seating, an entertainment center containing the TV and combination DVD/CD player, and a beautiful wood chest that serves as a coffee table. In the far corner is a cozy wood-burning stove to keep you warm in the cool evenings.
The family room opens up into the well-stocked kitchen, where beautiful granite counter tops and stainless appliances add to the comfortable elegance. You will find seating for four at the beautiful glass dining room table, as well as four bar stools at the counter for additional seating.
The house offers four bedrooms and two bathrooms for your use. The two downstairs queen bedrooms are furnished with lovely matching wood bed frames and night-stands. The upstairs queen bedroom is furnished with a metal bed and glass nightstand, and has a sliding door that opens to a balcony overlooking the forest. The second upstairs bedroom is equipped with a very nice family antique full bed and night-stand. All bedrooms have very comfortable new mattresses and top quality linens (100% turkish cotton towels and 100% cotton 400 TC sheets), and are decorated with nice artwork, most of which is from local artists. The upstairs bathroom has a bathtub and shower, and the downstairs bathroom has only a shower. Both bathrooms are very nice, and contain the same beautiful granite counter tops as the kitchen.
The house has been recently remodeled with very high-quality materials. Most of the furnishings are new and in excellent condition. There is beautiful wood throughout, including the high ceiling, floors and doors, beautiful granite counter-tops, all stainless appliances, and woven wood blinds. All of our guests love this home, and we are confident you will too!
This smoke-free home is very clean and meticulously maintained by local owners who also spend a good deal of time here. We want to ensure the home is nice for both us and our guests, and therefore expect our guests to treat it with the same respect and care as they would their own. In the interest of this objective, we will not rent to large groups or anyone under the age of 25, and the rules will be strictly enforced.

- Washer: Full-sized washer, located in the downstairs hall-closet.
- Dryer: Full-sized dryer, located in the downstairs hall-closet.
- Linens Provided: Top-quality white linens provided (Towels are 100% turkish cotton and sheets are 100% cotton 400 TC). One bath towel, hand-towel and wash cloth per person per week. In the Summer months, one beach towel per person will be provided. In addition, a bath-mat for each bathroom will be provided, as will 2 kitchen towels and 2 utility towels.
- Off Street Parking: Our driveway will accommodate 2-3 vehicles, depending on if there is snow or not. We do have a snow-plow service that plows the driveway, but they aren't able to provide enough clearance for the amount of cars that can be accommodated when there is no snow.
- Wood Stove: We do have a wood-stove, but you will have to purchase bundles of wood from the local hard-ware store, as we do not keep wood on-site due to a lack of available storage space.

We are a married couple with no children (except one very loveable and spoiled miniature schnauzer, who does not shed). In addition to our hobbies of cycling and scuba diving, we are avid travelers and try to get in as many trips each year as possible. Andrew owns a sales consultation company, and Tammy works with foster youth. We love the untouched beauty of Tahoe, and always knew we would eventually buy a vacation home here.
