This is one of the cleanest and well kept rentals you will ever find! A calm oasis in the center of it all, our beautiful wooded home is just three short blocks to the beach at Chambers Landing, two miles from Homewood ski resort, and eight miles to Tahoe City and all it has to offer. Walk down to the beach for a day of fun in the sun, take the FREE shuttle to Homewood Resort for a day on the slopes or catch the bike trail at the end of the road and cycle until your heart’s content! And if that isn’t enough to start packing your bags, consider all of the great shopping and fabulous restaurants that await you.
As you pull into the driveway, you can instantly feel your stress and tension start to fade away, as you observe the sunny deck with beautiful teak dining table and chairs and the large open forest just beyond. Upon entering the house into the combined family room and open kitchen, the quality of this wonderful home will become obvious, from the charming knotty pine wood ceilings and floors to the very tasteful décor.
The family room is furnished with a sofa, loveseat and leather chair for generous seating, an entertainment center containing the TV and DVD/CD player, and a beautiful wood chest that serves as a coffee table. In the far corner is a cozy gas stove to keep you warm in the cool evenings.
The family room opens up into the well-stocked kitchen, where beautiful granite counter tops and stainless appliances add to the comfortable elegance. You will find seating for four at the beautiful glass dining room table, as well as four bar stools at the counter for additional seating.
The house offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms for your use (the fourth bedroom is for owner use only and remains locked) . The two downstairs queen bedrooms are furnished with lovely matching wood beds and bedside tables. The third bedroom is located upstairs and is equipped with a very nice family antique full bed and bedside table. All bedrooms have very comfortable new mattresses and top quality linens (100% turkish cotton towels and 100% cotton, 400 TC sheets), and are decorated with beautiful artwork, most of which is from local artists. The upstairs bathroom has a bathtub and shower, and the downstairs bathroom has only a shower. Both bathrooms contain the same beautiful granite counter tops as the kitchen.
The house has been recently remodeled with very high-quality materials. Most of the furnishings are new and in excellent condition, and many are from Pottery Barn, or have a similar look. There is beautiful wood throughout, including the high ceiling, floors and doors, beautiful granite counter-tops, all stainless appliances, and woven wood blinds. All of our guests love this home, and we are confident you will too!
This smoke-free home is EXCEPTIONALLY clean and meticulously maintained by local owners who also spend a good deal of time here. We want to ensure the home is nice for both us and our guests, and therefore expect our guests to treat it with the same respect and care as they would their own. In the interest of this objective, we will not rent to large groups or anyone under the age of 25, and we do not allow house parties or events. The rules will be strictly enforced and the security deposit will be withheld for any violation of these rules. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A PARTY HOUSE, THIS IS NOT THE HOUSE FOR YOU.

We have always loved the untouched beauty of Tahoe's West Shore, and always knew we would eventually buy a vacation home here. We specifically chose this area because it was close enough to all the action, but not so close that the crowds during peak season are bothersome or annoying.

This was a great stay for a 40th birthday weekend. We were able to walk to the beach or the trailhead for great hikes. We had everything we needed to cook and the kitchen/living room/deck is a great place to hang out...spacious but intimate. The sheets and towels are luxurious and the beds are super comfy. Everything is in great condition and it was a wonderful alternative to a hotel.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway.

My friends and I had a great time staying at this cozy and beautiful home. Extremely close to Chambers beach, restaurants, hiking trails and biking....what more could you ask for!?!?! The house was immaculate and perfect for relaxing and enjoying the great activities in which Tahoe has to offer. I would recommend this to all of my friends and plan on renting this home again.

We stayed at this rental for 4 nights during Xmas vacation. This house was one of the best rental in Tahoe area. We enjoyed the close proximity to Homewood. The house is nicely remodeled and the layout was very comfortable and open. The bedding, bath to kitchen towel is high quality cotton, if you are picky as us, you will enjoy all the nice touch. Most of all, Tammy is wonderful to communicate. I highly recommend this lovely place if you are looking for a place in Tahoe.

We loved this rental in Tahoe! Wonderful location where we could walk from the house down to the trails by the lake for running and biking. Also, you can walk to the general store from the house for food and drinks. Beautiful kitchen (all new appliances) and cozy living room with fireplace. It was the perfect get away - must try the Fire Sign Cafe up the road for breakfast!

The Batistetta Cabin is ideally located in Lake Tahoe and incredibly comfortable. Our family enjoyed the scenery of the surrounding property and throughly appreciated the ammenities of a fully stocked kitchen, and comfortable bedrooms in a rental home. We would refer anyone to this property.
