You will absolutely love our gulf-front condo, which has been totally redecorated and furnished in the last year. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from our southwest-facing balcony. All the living areas have ceramic tile except the bedrooms, which have Berber carpet. Our kitchen features white cabinets, stainless steel appliances (all replaced last year), and granite countertops. We have an open floor plan with great views of the ocean from the kitchen, dining area, and living area, as well as the master bedroom.
After having lived in our unit full-time for 18 months, we take pride in the fact that our unit is furnished as a home and not a rental unit. We love the comfort of quality mattresses and bedding, fluffy white towels, and real wood furniture instead of the inexpensive "condo packages". We work hard and we love being comfortable when we're at our condo. NEW FOR 2011, a 52" flat screen TV for the living room!
The master bedroom features a king-sized bed with a TempurPedic mattress and new bedding for 2011. The master bath includes a large walk-in closet, two separate vanity areas, a large jetted soaking tub, a large walk-in shower, and a private toilet area.
The second bedroom features a queen-sized Marriott foam mattress. This bedroom connects to the shared hall bath. The third bedroom has a full-sized pillow-top mattress.
Having lived in Palacio full-time, we are very familiar with the building and the area. Perdido Key is an amazing area. If you love the way areas like Seagrove Beach and Seaside USED to be, then you'll love Perdido Key. Thanks to the state and national parks we have on the Key, we have miles of unspoiled beaches. You can actually ride down the highway and SEE the ocean!
We can recommend the best restaurants in the area. While our key is still unspoiled, there is plenty to do in the area if you have family members who are "doers". The FREE National Aviation Museum is very close, and we highly recommend it for all ages. For the shoppers in the family, the outlet mall in Foley has great bargains.
There are also lots of flea markets, antique stores, and consignment stores in the area. The Wharf in nearby Orange Beach offers restaurants, a movie theater, shopping, and a ferris wheel. Water sports, such as boating, wind surfing, and jet skis are available close by. We love our piece of the Key, and we believe you will, too!

Why the Owner Chose Palacio
Cindy's lifelong dream has been to have a place on the beach. That dream came true when we purchased our unit at Palacio in 2008. We're happy to be able to share that dream with you!
I love Lillian's pizza. My favorite is a thin crust pepperoni and pineapple pizza. Check out their weekday lunch buffet, too! They also deliver.
Check out their daily all you can eat specials! My favorite is the popcorn shrimp basket with french fries and shrimp coleslaw!
This little place is a great local hangout. Check out their entertainment schedule on the weekends and happy hour specials everyday. I love, love, love the chicken salad and the potato salad!
Cobalt is our special occasion dinner choice or a weekend lunch treat! Wonderful view of the intercoastal! You won't be disappointed. I love the peppercorn encrusted filet with asparagus for dinner and the wheat crust pizza for lunch!
You must enjoy dinner at the Sunset Grille! My favorites include the Grouper Bites, the onion rings, and the burgers. Of course, I don't eat all this in one sitting!

Steve and Cindy Hanna both grew up in Athens, Georgia. They raised their family in Birmingham, Alabama, before moving to Perdido Key. Steve owns businesses in Pensacola, Mobile, Birmingham, and Knoxville. Cindy is a flight attendant. They have three grown children.

We just returned from a short beach trip....this condo is beautiful and even better than its description. It was immaculate and felt very new and was an excellent price. The furnishings were comfortable and welcoming. The Palacio is a great property and is well maintained. We love Perdido Beach because it is less crowded but still an easy drive over to Gulf Shores. The owner was so helpful and quick with her responses. Can't WAIT to go back!

It's hard to put into words how wonderful our stay at Palacio was, but between the weather outside and the beautifully-elegant YET super-comfortable surroundings inside, it really felt like a piece of Heaven on earth! From Day One, communication and procedures flowed smoothly and promptly. Although we stayed, just the two of us, as a post-Christmas getaway, there is plenty of space (two extra bedrooms) for the whole family. Just be sure you reserve the master bedroom as your personal retreat...the view, the sound of the surf, and the balcony are indescribable, and truly second-to-none! We had a wonderful Holiday weekend...First my dad wanted to stay at a Marriot, but boy was he glad we didn't. Our only complaint was the elevator was down on Friday night at 4pm for building maintance, but Cindy had nothing to do with that. Great property!! We would do this again. Thanks!

We recently stayed for a long weekend in this beautiful Palacio condo. We totally enjoyed our stay. The rental was very clean, neat and definitely reflected the pictures that were portrayed on the website. I asked a few questions to the owner by email and received very prompt answers. The off-season pricing was very reasonable and the view from the condo was just about the prettiest I have ever seen. I would highly recommend this property to any one of my friends or relatives. We will definitely be back this summer. Thanks for an awesome getaway!

My family and I had a wonderful time. Access to the beach was great. The view from the balcony was amazing. The condo was clean and well kept with plenty of space for everyone. Many thanks to Cindy for giving us such a wonderful vacation!!! We had such an awesome time here. The rooms are spacious, the view is spectacular, the pools are huge and convenient, the beach is immaculate!!! What more can I say but that we'll always stay here when we come to Pensacola. We ate at the Shrimp Basket, went to a practice show to see the Blue Angels, went to the USS Alabama in Mobile, shopped at the huge Tanger Outlet in Foley, AL, and sat on the balcony and read books while the kids slept!!! This condo is perfect for your vacation! Thanks, Cindy for making it so wonderful for us!!!

Wow, beautiful condo, very nicely furnished, beautiful view. We celebrated our 25th anniversary here. Perfect location, close to a lot but still very quiet. Cindy was great to work with, that's why we love VRBO, you meet some great owners. We will be back!
