You will absolutely love our gulf-front condo, which was totally redecorated and furnished in 2010. Enjoy beautiful sunsets from our southwest-facing balcony. All the living areas have ceramic tile except the bedrooms, which have Berber carpet. Our kitchen features white cabinets, stainless steel appliances (new in 2010), and granite countertops. We have an open floor plan with great views of the ocean from the kitchen, dining area, and living area, as well as the master bedroom.
After having lived in our unit full-time for 18 months, we take pride in the fact that our unit is furnished as a home and not a rental unit. We love the comfort of quality mattresses and bedding, fluffy white towels, and real wood furniture instead of the inexpensive 'condo packages'. We work hard and we love being comfortable when we're at our condo. NEW IN 2011, a 52' flat screen TV for the living room!
The master bedroom features a king-sized bed with a TempurPedic mattress and new bedding in 2011. The master bath includes a large walk-in closet, two separate vanity areas, a large jetted soaking tub, a large walk-in shower, and a private toilet area.
The second bedroom features a queen-sized Marriott foam mattress. This bedroom connects to the shared hall bath. The third bedroom has a full-sized pillow-top mattress.
Having lived in Palacio full-time, we are very familiar with the building and the area. Perdido Key is an amazing area. If you love the way areas like Seagrove Beach and Seaside USED to be, then you'll love Perdido Key. Thanks to the state and national parks we have on the Key, we have miles of unspoiled beaches. You can actually ride down the highway and SEE the ocean!
We can recommend the best restaurants in the area. While our key is still unspoiled, there is plenty to do in the area if you have family members who are 'doers'. The FREE National Aviation Museum is very close, and we highly recommend it for all ages. For the shoppers in the family, the outlet mall in Foley has great bargains.
There are also lots of flea markets, antique stores, and consignment stores in the area. The Wharf in nearby Orange Beach offers restaurants, a movie theater, shopping, and a ferris wheel. Water sports, such as boating, wind surfing, and jet skis are available close by. We love our piece of the Key, and we believe you will, too!

I booked this lovely condo so I could spend some much-needed time with my daughter who is in the Navy and stationed in Pensacola. I surprised my daughter and brought my son (who is her best friend) along, so I needed a place that would easiy accommodate all three of us. This property is SO beautiful and the view is breathtaking. We all agreed it was our favorite vacation that we had ever taken together. The beds were to die for...the location was perfect (RIGHT on the beach...close to stores and restaurants, etc.), and everything about this place was TOP NOTCH. I would HIGHLY recommend it and would absolutely go back there again! This was our second stay at this condo...it was awesome both times..the owner was very helpful when i told her we didn't have too many towels for both bathrooms and she provided new ones and also new pots and pans that were much needed..I would recommend this condo to any one who is going to Perdido Key..We loved the Oyster Bar especially since they were giving 25% off your entire bill..Will probably be back next year...Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

The condo was exactly as described, furnished as shown in the pictures and just a fabulous place to enjoy the beach. We truly enjoyed ourselves and Cindy was very quick to correct and apologize for a cleaning deficiency early on in our stay. We really enjoyed Hub Stacey's (recommended by the owner, the Chicken Salad is unbelievable). Very great experience and value and would recommend to others.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

This condo was great. It is in a good location. We went towards the AL border along Perdido Key, and there were better restaurants just about 10 min West, or you could drive into Pensacola. We were going to see the Blue Angels, and when we arrived you could actually see some of the Friday Evening air show from the condo balcony. Very Cool! Beach is beautiful. Only a couple other people there in November. Overall a great condo. Quiet and relaxing, with Beautiful sunsets.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This is my second time staying at the Palacio. It is in my opinion in my top two properties to stay at on the beach. Cindy's unit is decorated well, and makes you feel right at home. All new appliances, bedroom furniture, and patio furniture. Plenty of room with five people. We never wanted to leave. For the price you can't beat it, and we will definitely be returning in the winter for another weekend getaway! Cindy was very helpful and fast at getting back to us. We look forward to working with her again on our next vacation.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Unit was very nice. When we had a problem wth burned-out lights, I called owner and she had maintenance replace them within 24 hours. The beds were wonderful! The unit was advertised as well-equipped, but apparently, a kitchen inventory hasn't been made lately because there was only minimal cookware, serving dishes, utensils, storage containers, dishcloths, etc. This made is difficult to prepare meals which we needed to do most nights having an infant with us. Large kitchen appliances were very nice. It would also have been nice to have some sort of table out on the balcony where you could enjoy a meal. The balcony is very large, but it seemed we didn't get to spend as much time out there as if we had had a table. We also noticed the first night, our feet were black from being barefoot. Don't know if it was the tile floor or the rug in the living area. Might be something to look into. Another issue we had was the spin cycle of the washer. It sounded like the Blue Angels flying over! Overall, it ws a lovely condo, but if the owner attends to these issues, it will be much more satisfactory for future guests and, in that case, I would recommend it to others.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway.
Owner response: I wish you had let me know which kitchen items you felt were lacking while you were there, and I would have provided those items for you. The tile floors are all mopped before each guest's arrival and the carpets and rugs are all vacuumed as well. Perhaps your feet got dirty from walking on the balcony or outside walkways. I have contacted an appliance company this weekend to make an appointment for them to come and check the washing machine. I hope you enjoyed your stay, and thank you for communicating your concerns to me so that I can address them and provide an even better vacation experience for my future guests.

Our small family of 5 recently spent 4 nights here and it was amazing! The condo is beautifully decorated, comfortable, and has all the conveniences of home. The view of the beach from the 16th floor is stunning. We have now found our new favorite vacation spot. I can't imagine staying anywhere else while visiting the gulf coast. Our family definitely plans on forming a long time business relationship with the owner! Cindy was very easy to get in touch with and responded to all of my email questions almost instantly. About the owner: Steve and Cindy Hanna both grew up in Athens, Georgia. They raised their family in Birmingham, Alabama, before moving to Perdido Key. Steve owns businesses in Pensacola, Mobile, Birmingham, and Knoxville. Cindy worked as a flight attendant and currently volunteers at Navy Hospital and the Sacred Heart Cancer Center. They have three grown children.
