Charlemagne Exceeded Our Expectations

Our family of 4, two adults, two children (ages 10-12) had a great stay in Isabelle's Charlemagne apartment. The apartment is centrally located, less than a 1 minute walk from Saint Paul Metro on line 1, the main east/west subway line. We walked easily to Ile St Louis, Le Marais, Place des Vosges and Musee Carnavalet. The apartment is around the corner from Rue des Rosiers and the old Jewish neighborhood. Anyone looking for kosher food will find many options here. The main bedroom was beautifully decorated, with an impressive amount of storage space. The bed was very firm but extremely comfortable, one of the best beds I've ever slept on. Kids had a choice of sofabed or murphy bed - we chose the sofabed because it did not require moving the dining table. I asked them several times during our stay if the bed was OK and they were quite happy with it. We had plenty of space for our family. Living room was spacious with enough room to invite a few people to visit. Bathroom was small but clean and functional. Kitchen is on the small side but well equipped. The refrigerator, dishwasher, and washing machine all worked well. The breakfast nook can seat two. With windows closed, the apartment is quiet. With windows open, you get some street noise, but not much - the street did not have much traffic (mind you this was in August). Isabelle was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process of booking and accessing the apartment. Our security deposit was promptly refunded within days of departure. Overall, highly satisfactory.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Comfortable apartment, well located in an area of Paris with lots of lively young people, St Paul Metro is w/ina 100 paces, which connects you to all the sites, or you can walk along the river to the heart of all of Paris' main attractions. My wife and I found Isabelle to be a pleasure to deal with. P.S. Paris in April was a blast!

We stayed in the Charlemagne for a week in October. The location was great! Very close to the metro and the neighborhood was fun with many shops and restaurants near by. Working with Isabelle was very easy and I would recommend her apartments at any time. I would love to go again!

Five adults stayed at " Charlemagne" for a week and managed just fine space-wise. The apartment was excellent and had everything we needed, along with being charming and in a great safe and convenient location. Isabelle is entirely professional and friendly, and we would definitely come again and can totally highly recommend "Isabelle's Apartments"

We had a wonderful week in Isabelle's Charlemagne apt.inMay of 2009.Everything was as represented and we had no problems. It was exciting to have our own place instead of a hotel and we got far more bang for the buck. I won't hesitate to do it again. Isabelle's service was excellent and her friend Sabine offers top rate guided tours and travel advice of all kinds. We loved the day trip through the Champagne region with Sabine.

We stayed at the "Charlemagne" apartment, and absolutely loved it. There was plenty of room for my husband and I, and my sister. We were thrilled with the location of the apartment. Just a short walking distance from all the main attractions, and less than 1/2 block from a metro station. The food around the apartment was great. I highly recommend this apartment to anyone interested in visiting Paris, and wanting to stay in an ideal location. Thank you Isabelle for everything. You were very helpful, and answered all my questions in a timely matter. Hope to see you soon. Laurie & Scott Bridges DarylAnn Thompson

We just returned home after a wonderful 10 days in 2 of Isabelle's apartments. We spent a week in the Moliere apartment in the Latin Quarter and then after a weekend in Bruges, one night in her Charlemagne apartment in the Marais before flying home. The apartments are perfect and well located. It was nice to feel at "home". "Moliere" is located in the heart of the Latin Quarter and the bustling energy of the Sorbonne. "Charlemagne" is located in the Marias with its narrow streets of old Paris filled with small shops and wonderful food. It was a pleasure working with Isabelle. She is very organized and easy to work with. She has several apartments in various locations for different tastes and experiences. We will definitely stay in one of her apartments again on our next trip to Paris. Robert Strohmeier, New York, NY
