Charming Little House Near Vaison-La-Romaine, in Provence

Guest: Anne (Sedona, AZ, USA)
Date of Stay: 10/26/10 Review Submitted: 11/01/10

We so enjoyed our warm, hospitable welcome by owners Irene and Alain. The 2-story building was roomy for 2 of us: upstairs bedroom and bath, downstairs living room, bath, and kitchen, and washer/utility room. The best meals were spent at the table on the patio off the kitchen. We could see the countryside to the south, with a lovely view of Mt. Ventoux. It was quiet and peaceful. We bought food at the local supermarket and cooked marvelous meals. We spent days hiking in the forest, and exploring the Roman ruins in Vaison-La-Romaine. We wished we had stayed longer. This is a perfect house to call home for a week or two, and use it as a base for seeing most of northern Provence. Alain offered us bicycles, but we were into walking. Both he and Irene were most considerate and helpful. We'll be back soon! Anne Crosman, Sedona, AZ
