Grand Lake is a quaint historic town that serves the western entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park (RMNP) -- access to the park is a short 2-mile drive, or take your bike to get there. Fall is wonderful time to view the colors and hear the elk bugle! There are many small locally owned shops to satisfy your shopping urge, and a putt-putt golf course in town. Grand Lake offers an active mountain experience in a quiet, stress-free location far removed from the hustle and bustle of other mountain resorts.
