If you are looking for beautiful newer accommodations on the lake and in the woods, you must consider our Crooked Lake Compound. We are approximately one hour's drive from both South Bend and Fort Wayne, so you can enjoy the wonderful Fort Wayne Children's Zoo or visit Notre Dame and the College Football Hall of Fame. If you like cars, you owe it to yourself to visit Auburn and the Auburn-Cord-Duesenberg Museum....or if you are a history buff, visit the World War II Victory Museum and the Hoosier Air Museum.
If you like exploring cultural diversity, visit Amish Acres and other Amish venues nearby. If you just love being in nature, spend some time at Pokagon State Park. Try some locally made wine at the Satek Winery and "go home on the range" at the Fremont Wild Winds Bison Farm.
If you just want to relax in a location with beautiful scenery, this is the place. In the summer, children enjoy the beach with wading and swimming, or fishing from the dock, or boating. In the spring and fall you can enjoy the serenity of a quieter lake with kayaking or boating or fishing. Business groups have found our location excellent for team building and small group work.

Rudy and I love water resort areas... rivers, lakes, and ocean. We enjoy staying at our lake homes relaxing and playing in the lakes... and we love staying at our home on Catalina Island, looking down at the Pacific Ocean and Avalon Harbor. And we love the frozen water----snow!-- and love to ski in Aspen. And to our guests' benefit we love sharing our great homes with appreciative guests.
Why the Owner Chose Angola
When we bought our property, it was clear that it was an amazing location with a beautiful position on Crooked Lake, a large oversize lot plus a bonus lot across the street. We new we would need to completely reconstruct the home, so we left the fireplace and basement and took the home down to the studs and started a new construction project. We now have a beautiful old-new home. We love it.
The Unique Benefits of this 2 Houses
Our compound includes a 7 Bedroom 5 Bath home on the lake which sleeps 23 and a 4 bedroom 3 bath home across the street...this sleeps 10 persons. You can enjoy the lakefront views, or enjoy the beautiful wooded views across the street.
