Relax and enjoy the beautiful wide beaches of historic Barnegat Light. This immaculate, comfortable second floor unit of a duplex is three houses from the beach. The cathedral ceiling in the living room/kitchen area creates an open and airy feel. The three bedrooms sleep seven and the bathroom includes a full size tub with shower.
The kitchen is very well-equipped making it easy to prepare family meals (or dine or order take out from one of the excellent local restaurants!) Amenities include central air, full-size washer and dryer, dishwasher, large screen TV, excellent stereo system with extensive, eclectic CD collection, private outdoor shower, and large sunny deck with retractable awning.
The street is quiet and safe for children to play and ride bikes, and is within walking distance of many fun things to do and see in town: "Old Barney" lighthouse and state park, nature trails, tennis courts, skate park, playground, basketball court, museum, shopping, fishing, boating, restaurants and liquor store.
The beach is lovely, with wide white sand beaches, providing plenty of room to spread out, even at high tide. Try surf fishing - this is one of the best fishing spots on the island. Surfing is allowed all the time. Our favorite thing to do is to take a leisurely stroll on the beach towards the lighthouse to collect sea shells and beach glass.

Just what the doctor ordered! The home was clean and well equipped. Beach was a bit of a walk but we enjoyed that! Great communication from the owners and a prompt return of the security deposit. Hope to return.

I had a very relaxing vacation at this wonderful little home. I was on the second floor, and I loved it. It is so airy, bright, and comfortable. I really liked the light pastel colors used throughout the rooms, as well as the amount of windows and blinds that are easily adjusted for comfort and light. Everything is at your fingertips. The entertainment center is top-notch, and you can cook and eat anything you can dream up in the spacious, well-equipped kitched. I'd definitely rent this little jewel again. The owners care about your comfort and keep you well-informed about your upcoming vacation. The beach is not crowded, and being a plant lover, the dunes vegetation captured my interest on every walk.

Hurricane Irene had just left LBI - literally - as we began our vacation; first time visitors to the island and looking forward to the relaxing environment and white beaches everyone claimed! Wow...were we ever pleased! The house was exactly what was described, spacious and clean - everyone slept comfortably and was able to enjoy all aspects of the house -- our surprise, was the breeze while sitting on the deck! I started and finished reading my book! The walk through the dunes was really cool. If we were not in the mood for the walk we would take the shortcut with the trolley to the beach! A hey ride in the sand! We took our bikes and rode the bikes all over town, lighthouse museum and small shops -- the Mustache Bill for breakfast is a must. We picked up breakfast sandwiches at Inlet Deli and had breakfast by the lighthouse. Well, you all get the idea -- we had fun! If you are looking for a relaxing week at the beach with kids or without, I would recommend a stay at this house!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this comfortable, clean, sunny home. The common area was large and bright and the deck with its awning was a lovely way to end each day. The house is very conveniently located and this end of the island is a very quiet, relaxing area to stay. We are looking forward to coming back!

The owner's have done a marvelous job creating a resort property that still feels like home. The house was immaculate, the painting is top-notch. Decorative touches are just enough. The deck furniture is fantastic! Our family of four had more than enough room to enjoy ourselves. The kitchen had everything we needed (including pots for boiling corn on the cob, crabs, lobster, etc!). The bedrooms are roomy. To get to the beach you need to go through the dunes, but the boardwalk makes that a very nice experience. If you're looking for a quiet, peaceful beach retreat, look no further. By the way, the owners are very professional and helpful. Nice folks to deal with.

The owners of this rental are extremely nice, they provided us with all the info we needed to find quality restaurants and shops and their recommendations were great! The house is very nice, sunny and pristine, I love the cd collection, outdoor shower, large wrap around deck, fully equipped kitchen, and three tvs! The location of the house is great, we love to bike and this end of the island is perfect because there is a lot less traffic to deal with compared to other parts of the island. The wide dunes and beaches are so wonderful to stroll and explore. Charming shops and friendly people. Great vacation spot!!!!

My son and I were extremly pleased with this house, it is very clean and well maintained. I would love to rent this house again next year. The owner of the house was very, very nice and very quick to respond back by phone and e-mail. I was a pleasure dealing with her, if you like LBI you'll love this house
