We had a fantastic time at Ed and Linda's property! Everything we needed was right at our fingertips - not to mention we got to go snowboarding in near 80 degree weather! Already thinking about our return next year. So happy we rented the Beaver Lodge!

My wife and stayed at your home for 9 nites. It was the first time at your home and it was wonderful, anything you could possibly want is there and the place is gorgeous. My 2 sisters came up for a few days and they too thouroughly enjoyed it there.Ed is a real good guy to deal with and a true family man.We brought 15 in. of snow to the mountains as we usually do and they opened the lifts over that weekend.Once again I would recomend this home to stay at for all times of the year. Thanks Ed and Linda. Thanks a ton, our family had a "Killington reunion" for the first time in 12 years. What a perfect house... 4 great days of skiing, 3 great days of fishing... can't wait to do it again.

We stayed at Beaver Lodge for 3 nights at the beginning of February 2011. There were 8 of us and plenty of room for more. Property is simply magnificent: excellent and solid WOODWORK, fine appliances, big kitchen, cozy leaving room with a fireplace, elegant bathrooms and bedrooms. Entertainment in the basement kept us occupied during evening hours. Wireless Internet was a big deal! On the third day we’ve experienced major snowstorm, but by the time we left the house for skiing, driveway and access road were plowed and cleared. House is located close to ski resort, which was very convenient. If you’re looking for an upscale but affordable place to stay in Killington, do not look any further

The house is huge with real fire place and very close to Killiongton Ski area (esp. skyship 1 gondola). Great for family or group of friends to hang out. House is made out of logs and it really feels like a true vacation house. It was super clean and exceeded our expectations by far. Need a car to get around, but I would choose here any time against much more expensive and smaller ski in/out condos.

Thanks for sharing your Beaver Lodge with us. It was the perfect setting for us to celebrate our Thanksgiving with our family. The kids enjoyed the game room and everyone loved the huge pillows. We hope to visit again next year.

We really enjoyed our week at your beautiful home. We went to a lot of places: Sugarbush Farm, Quechee Gorge, Woodstock, Calvin Coolidge Birthplace, and tubing on the Peavine. We loved the Vermont cheese and of course the Long Trail Brewery... Kids favorite parts of the vacation: …really cool moth on the Porch (Tara 6)… tubing all the rivers (Todd 10)… tubing and swimming (Stephanie 13).

I am back at work and I cannot believe that I am typing you this email. I did not want to go to Vermont in the summer let alone for the 4th of July when we could have watched the fireworks in NYC … Vermont is for skiing… my girlfriend and her friends booked this and dragged me and my friends along… This was the greatest vacation I have ever had…your home is very amorous… we golfed at several terrific courses Killington, Green Mountain, Pittsfield, Killington had an unbelievable wine festival, my friend caught a trout in the river in front of your house which we bbq’d, ate at Bentleys and the Corner Inn (great food), tubed down to the Long Trail Brewery and ate while the girls did there thing over in the lakes and shopped in Woodstock Ludlow and along the roads. To top it off your neighbor put on a fireworks show that that was really impressive!!! I am interested in booking something for the winter please call me back.

We came to Vermont for a college graduation and decided to make it a mini vacation using your home. It was great. We had a bar-b–que and bon fire with our son and his friends. They all LOVED the big pillows. It was great to come back relax on the porch or by the fire and hear the stream and the birds… minus the woodpecker!...he’s an early riser!

Our 14 year old son LOVED your home. He must have told me 20 times before we left how we should come back this summer for tubing and other adventures. Pretty impressive for a male teen who usually just grunts.

Our stay was wonderful! Wrote all about it in your guestbook! We loved your home. It was clean, updated, and close to EVERYTHING. Was a bit noisy with the 5 little boys but oh well...they are 5 little boys! We went skiing at Pico(which was perfect..no lines and nice and small and Okemo, and tubed too. The weather was perfect! So it was a successful vacation, the boys were happy..sledded in your front yard! We had everything we needed so thank you again. Oh...I think I forgot to put the darts back downstairs. They are either on top of the fridge or in the cabinet closest to the fridge. Those boys found lots of fun things in your basement. Some things we needed to hide away:) Boys will be boys! Great time ...would love to visit again! Thanks Gretchen Cutter

Ed- How are you? We had a great time at your house this past weekend! The house is beautiful. You and your family did a great job with everything. The kitchen is a great size and the main living area is really comfortable. The conditions at Killington were great and it was just a great overall experience. It seems like to guys would love to come back next year. How far in advance do you take a booking to stay? Would you be willing to keep our rate the same as this year? Thanks again! Mike

Hi Ed, Just wanted to thank you for the rental and wanted to let you know that me and my friends had a fantastic time at Killington. Everyone was surprised and impressed by the construction of the cabin when they got there. Can't wait for next year and for the game room to be finished. I'm sure everyone's going to want to come back up after this trip. Thanks again! Sincerely, Henry

You were right, it was an "excellent adventure". It was wonderful – the house was one of my favorite parts of the whole trip – It worked out great! Kids and husbands did lots of skiing – I did a little hike in the snow on the Long Trail with my sister-in-law -(took forever to find a good place to take a walk- wasn’t sure where to go and everyone kept pointing us in different directions – it was really funny!) We ended up eating at Noel ‘s the first night, and cooked the other two nights Went into Woodstock – had lunch, shopped a little The big suede pillows were a hit with the five boys, as you might imagine! I’m just trying to figure out when we can do it again – Thanks so much!! Donna

Thank you again so much. We had a wonderful time, and would like to make this an annual family trip. Your house really felt like home to us, which made Christmas even better. My husband and I left a sweater and sweatshirt hanging in the master bedroom closet. Is it possible to have someone mail it at their convenience? If it's a hassle, no worries. We would really like to make a return trip next Christmas, so we can always pick it up then:) Thanks again, Deb
