Nestled along the upper foothills of Waitsfield Vermont sits this warm and open getaway with unparalleled views of Mad River’s three ski mountains. Lincoln Peak, Mount Ellen and this homeowner’s playground Mad River Glen.
This four season home is the ideal place to spend any time of year. In the summer there are numerous swimming holes within a few minutes drive. In the fall the colorful views from the wraparound deck will take your breath away . In the winter and spring the slopes of your choice are minutes away as are all the amenities that the Waitsfield/Warren offers. Sugarbush offers two mountains to ski and snowboard with snowmaking. Mad River Glen is more old school atmosphere with ungroomed trails and no snowmaking.

This three level home can comfortably accommodate 12+ people with your choice of five bedrooms and three full and one half bath. There is also a hot tub room surrounded by windows. A spacious master suite with views of the mountains and the Mad River Valley including a workout area with an elliptical machine encompasses the top floor. The main floor is perfect for entertaining.
A large living room with adjoining kitchen flows to outside deck overlooking sloping property. A cozy family room gives large groups plenty of room to spread out. The indoor spa is perfect after a day of skiing. Off the kitchen is a more cozy TV room and wet bar. The wrap around porch allows you to completely take in the reason you are there in the first place… the beauty of Vermont. Downstairs houses four bedrooms with two full baths and a laundry room, with potential to sleep 12.
Although there is no need to leave this spectacular property, the area offers movies, restaurants, tennis, golf, skiing, fitness clubs, massage, shopping, antiquing, pottery, horseback riding and lots of hiking and walking trails.

Although we live by the beach our ideal vacation is spending time in the relaxing beautiful Mad River Valley. Our children love the skiing swimming and hiking offered by this wonderful location. We have enjoyed every minute of our time spent at our beautiful home and know you will too!

I've stayed here twice. This is a great house, centrally located between Mad River and Sugar Bush. Awesome views of both ski areas from across the valley. The house itself can accomodate multiple familes comfortably, is very cozy, and in great shape. You can't go wrong...
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.
