Year Purchased: 2001
Rhonda and I have lived here in Haywood County all our lives. Actually, we were high school sweethearts. We married in 1979 and started looking for property to build our dream home. The property we found had been right under our noses all along. We had passed by the property for years never noticing it. I passed it on my way to Camp Daniel Boone as a scout, and Rhonda passed it on the way to visit grandparents. I am employed at the paper mill in Canton and Rhonda owns a Florist in the small town of Clyde. We have two sons-Zach & Zeke, two granddaughters-Chloe & Keira, two coonhounds-Lady and Millie, and Buck the wonder dog. By the way, we are still sweethearts.
Why the Owner Chose Waynesville
We already lived on the property when we decided to build the cabins. We traveled quite a bit from vacations to romantic get-a-ways. Almost every destination would be a disappointment. The advertising would be false and the places were dirty. After every trip we would say we could run a better place than the one we had visited. Finally in 2001 we opened up our first cabin. It has been a great experience and we have enjoyed making friends from all over the world.

Personal care and attention is given to each visitor, with flowers and snacks waiting for you. In addition, special requests such as gift baskets or specific flowers are welcome.

This property was very clean and well maintained from the minute we walked through the door.The owner would check and be sure everything we needed was provided for. This property is great for a romantic get away or perfect for a couple with small children. It was very convienent to everything yet far away to enjoy the peace and quiet.Flowers and snacks are provided when you walk in the door. That was a very welcoming experience. You will not be disappointed.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children.

This is a beautiful cabin, very well kept and comfortable. Has everything you need. Beautiful scenery and central to many attactions. Owners add a personal caring touch, checking in often to see if they can do anything for you.
