We loved this house. It was very clean, spacious, comfortable and had all we needed. The owners put extra special touches to make this a home away from home. We would love to come back again!

We would like to share with everyone this great vacation site. It had amazing views from every window and lots of privacy! The amenities were modern, clean and perfectly suited for our family affair! We now love ping-pong and horseshoes! Very easy access as it is only 4 miles west of Buena Vista. Comfy couch and nice TV! (nicer than home!!) We plan to make this our new summer spot. Thank you!!

We had a mini-high school reunion at this place, and were very comfortable. The four of us enjoyed seeing sights in the area and having cosy evenings for visiting and reminiscing. Enjoyed the coffee bar and all the amenities very much. Our 3 nights there flew by. The attractions in the area kept us busy, and we had great rest in the comfy beds. The wonderfuly stocked kitchen was easy to cook in and clean up, so we could have relaxing dinners when we wanted to stay in. Loved the Aveda products!

Our family (myself, husband, two teenagers) stayed here for two nights at the end of our Colorado road trip. The house was comfortable and clean. Everything you might need is there. Extras like ping-pong and outdoor horseshoes kept the kids entertained at night. Enjoyed the beautiful views of the mountains while sitting outside on the deck. We appreciated all the extras - Dish TV with movie channels, WiFi, Aveda hair products, sunscreen, body lotion, ice chest we used during the day to keep drinks cold, board games, books, movies... Close to town so easy to reach restaurants and activities Buena Vista and surrounding areas have to offer. Loved it! The owner, Peggy, was very easy to deal with and was quick to respond to any questions I had. All the comforts of home. We'll be back!

We had a great stay! The house was large, very clean, and well-equipped. Only my husband and I stayed, but the house was roomy enough for a large group. It was quiet with pretty views of the mountains yet very convenient and close to town. The funiture and bed were super comfortable. The property owners were very helpful, and the rental process, directions to the property, and guest expectations were clear. They had plenty of movies, games, a grill, ping pong table, nice decks, and fully equipped kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry room. All we had to bring were food and clothing. The house was very comfortable for relaxing after a long day of hiking and climbing. Being right off of 306, it was convenient to all of our favorite trailheads. This was a really comfortable "base camp" from which to start our early morning hikes, and we were able to get a couple of 14ers in even though we're flatlanders! BV is a wonderful place for all kinds of sports like biking and rafting, too. The hot springs are close by the house as well. We plan to return and bring some family members with us next time so they can enjoy BV, the Collegiate Peaks, the Arkansas River, and this comfortable vacation home!

We stayed a week at this great house. We were a 3 generation family on Colorado vacation. Peggy and Kevin were so great answering questions. This is a well stocked, very clean house. We lacked for nothing. Beautiful mountain scenery from decks and close to Buena Vista, yet outside enough for peace and quiet relaxation. Buena Vista has all ammenties you need with supermarket, nice restaurants, etc., yet smaller and comfortable to get around. Would love to come back someday to visit again. Really reccomend this property. Cottonwood Pass is a great place to visit and hike as is Chalk Cliffs and St. Elmo Ghost Town. Salida was nice town to visit 20+ miles south and has great hospital "Heart of the Rockies" which we had to use as our grandaughter had to have emergency appendectomy during our visit. Nice to have such a comfortable house to rest in afterwards. Thanks Peggy and Keven.

My family stayed here for 2 nights. We were in town for rafting and zip-lining and this was a great location, not too far away. The cabin was extremely cozy and had absolutely everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and there was even a little coffee bar! The Aveda products in the bathrooms was an especially nice treat. I would recommend to anyone and look forward to staying here again.

Owner was extremely responsive, timely, and accommodating. The place was very nice and perfect for our one night stay en route of Ride the Rockies. Our deposit was in our mail before we returned. The home was set up very customer service oriented with coffee bar, maps/books, movies, etc. Great experience; thanks!

We have stayed in many cabins/houses offered on VRBO, and by far this was the cleanest and tidiest of them all. There is easy access to this house, and it is a very good "base camp" for exploring the area. With easy access comes lack of remoteness- this house is very near to a state highway (though we really couldn't hear traffic noise inside the house), with no trees on the property. Very nice view of the mountains to the north. If you are looking for a house/cabin somewhat in the wilderness but also fairly near civilization, then this is a great choice for you.

My husband and I liked this place so much we have stayed here twice. It's very clean and well thought out by the owners. Everything you would need. We have stayed once for 2 weeks and again for a week. The location is perfect for town, hiking, sight-seeing, golf. Take a stroll along the river on the trail just a mile from the house. Sit at the dining room table and be amazed by the view of Mt. Princeton. We have never stayed here in the summer, but there are 2 nice decks for enjoying the outdoors and the views. It's a perfect place for a couple, or a family.

Our group of adventurous teachers from Michigan found the house to be better than described. The location was exceptional for day trips to hiking trails, relaxing in hot springs, bungie jumping at The Royal Gorge and white water rafting at River Runners!!! Great restaurants in Buena Vista for Asian and wood-fire pizza at the Eddyline. Awesome trip and stay.

Three of us stayed an equal number of nights while on a "flying" vacation. The home is very spacious and exceptionally clean. As other reviewers have mentioned the home is equipped well beyond expectations. The location is easily accessible from town as well as local attractions. Peggy was very easy to work with and responsive. I would certainly recommend this home for a short or long stay.

We had a wonderful time at this home. It was clean. It had all of the amenities that we needed. The rooms were large enough for our family of six to stay comfortably. This was a great value.

My boyfirend and I stayed here for a relaxing get-away from the city and we got exactly that! The house is very clean and comfortable with games, movies and a telescope for viewing the stars. The scenery is gorgeous with Mt. Princeton so close that I couldn't stop taking pictures. The house is not too far away from the Mt. Princeton Hotsprings which was the icing on the cake of a wonderful visit. We will definitely stay here again and recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation!

This place first has an amazing view from the porch. I was out there every morning in awe of the beauty. The place is also very welcoming and clean. I felt right at home. The bed that I slept in was very comfortable. Over all I have no complaints about this place, just positive things to say about it.

My girlfriend and I booked this house for a romatic weekend getaway. First off, it was easy to find and in one of the most beautiful spots in Buena Vista. The house was immaculate and comfortable with everything we might have needed. The king size bed in the master bedroom was really comfy and blankets were easy to find. I'm really impressed with how much thought the owners put into our stay. The location was great, just far enough outside of town and not too far from the Mount Princeton Hotsprings...hint hint. I will be recommending this house to anyone thinking about a vacation.

My wife and I stayed at this beautiful home in November, 2009 for one week and found it to be wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious living room area and the incredible views of the mountains right out side the windows. It was spotless, well taken care and looked like it was brand new. You only have to bring your clothes and you'll be all set. They provided dishes, glasses, paper towels, bath tissue, tissue, foil, plastic wrap, Aveda shampoo & conditioner, lotions, etc. There are TVs in every room and plenty of movies on DVD and VHS tape. It was great to have a garage when it started snowing. The king size bed was very comfortable and roomy. There is a well stocked kitchen and a separate room for the full size washer and dryer. The town of Buena Vista is only 5 minutes away and has everything you'll need or want. We went hiking and were amazed at the mountain views. We spotted wolves and deer while we were out hiking in the Collegiate Peaks. My wife and I will definitely be back next summer for a full month. Peggy is very accommodating and just a phone call away if you need anything.
