We have been vacationing in this resort at Sandestin for years but this is the first time we have rented this home. What a pleasant surprise! This is by far the nicest home we have rented. Newly renovated, the furnishings were beautiful and we had all the comforts of home. The views from the screened porch and upstairs balcony were spectacular. What a great place for rest and relaxation when you wanted. The resort provided lots of things to do - swimming at the beach or pools, concerts, wine festival, nature trail, golf, and boating. We especially enjoyed watching the sunsets from Baytown Wharf. Thanks Jim for sharing your home with us!

My husband and I spent a great two months in this newly renovated town house in Sandestin resort. We arrived in a terrible rainstorm and a leak in the plumbing of the renovation project had put the staff behind and between us we all tried to get things in order. The renovations are still ongoing and once complete will certainly enhance the property even more. We understand during this winter it is going to have the main area carpet removed and then tiled. But the living area furniture is now new, the artwork redone, a complete paint job on the entire place. It is a super place to stay on the bayside, not the beachside, but that has its good points, especially during March break time. The traffic at the beachside of the resort doubled, but this end of the resort remained quiet, peaceful and rejuvinating to the soul (except when the frogs decided to do all-night mating calls). Unlike many other rental places with the basic pot, pan, scratched frying pan, and basic cutlery and crockery, this kitchen has everything you need to "live" and cook when there for months as we were. Appliances are very good quality. The couches and chairs are comfy, as are the beds, and Jim the owner is aware the patio sets need replacing. The outlook from the lanai is the golf course and pond, and one of our occupations was to sit with a glass of wine in the afternoon and watch the golfers drop balls into the pond then help them navigate them out again. One of the windows did get hit with a golf ball when we were there, but it has a film on it, and so the glass did not shatter inside, thankfully. The cleaning and maintenance folks are helpful and considerate, and if something goes wrong, (like a golf ball shattering a window) you just call and they will arrange for it to be done at your convenience. We were very happy living there, and very sorry we had to leave. But we have already planned to return.

My husband and I went in early January for a "get away" with a 7 year old and a 75 year old and we were not disappointed. The weather was record cold, so that meant lots of time inside! We loved the privacy and the layout of the condo, as well as the screened porch sunrise view at breakfast time (while watching the golfers). We would definately go back, even in 40 degree weather!

The eight memebers of my family and I were absolutely blown away by the beauty/location/comfort of this place. The golf cource is out your back door. There are ponds for fishing with 10 feet of your back door. Cross the road and you are on the beach. Extremely nice accomodation. Plenty of ammenities on the complex and very cheerful staff.

This was our 5th straight summer to vacation in this beautiful condo! A perfect location within Sandestin, its close to the beach, village, restaurants and shopping, yet located in the very quiet Northshore neighborhood. This condo has all the comforts of home, and the owner is wonderful to work with. Two minute walk to the huge pool which overlooks the gorgeous bay, or just hop in the bay (thigh deep) just a few steps from the condo. Fish in the bay or in the pond just outside the back porch (catch/release). Sandestin is truly a wonderful place to vacation with a family. We have 3 teenagers that have been brought up vacationing in Sandestin. They loved Sandestin when they were younger, and love it even more as they have grown up. We feel very comfortable letting our kids roam throughout Sandestin because the resort is secured and you must obtain a pass from security in order to enter. This condo truly is a wonderful place for a family vacation, but also would be great for a romantic getaway or an outing with the girls or your golfing buddies. The pictures show how this condo is professionally decorated, and you won't regret planning your next getaway here! Thanks again, Jim!

We went with 2 other couples for a Memorial Day weekend getaway and had a great time. It was great for us that each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The place was cute and cozy. It was great to be able to walk out the back door and go for a walk along the golf course or to the back bay to watch the sunset. It was fun to watch the golfers go by as they played the hole right outside the screened in porch. The condo is a short scenic drive across the highway to the beautiful beaches of Sandestin. Baytowne Village with shops and restaurants is on the same side of the Hwy as the condo. The owner is great and very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. We have already booked it to come back with our parents for the Fourth of July weekend. You can't beat this for price & location!!

We rented this property two years in a row and you will not find a better place to enjoy a Northwest Florida vacation. The condo is in a perfect location, located next to the 15th green in the North Shore subdivision. It has three bedrooms, King, Queen and Two Twins. All have their own bathrooms. The community pool is a two minute walk from the condo. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. Just bring your food. The condo has a wonderful screen-in porch located off the great room. The condo is beautifully decorated as well. There is a washer and dryer right off the kitchen. Jim (the owner) is a great guy to work with. The Destin Beach Resort and Golf Club is over 2,500 acres (The condo is located inside fully secured entrances) has 5 golf course, wonderful restaurants and shops just a few minutes away. Take my adiice and book this condo for your next vacation. You will not be displeased. Doug Lozel - Jonesboro, Georgia

This condo was exactly as described and the photos are an exact depiction! It was clean and well maintained, comfortable, quiet and perfect for our family's stay (5 kids ages 1 through 13 included)! The kids enjoyed the beach (very short drive), The Track and shopping at the nearby outlet mall most of all! Our best dining experience on this short trip was Hard Rock Cafe! Jim (the owner) was very easy to work with and has great communication skills! I would certainly recommend this property to a friend or relative and we DO plan to rent it again in the future! Thanks Jim!

Myself and 2 friends rented this condo for our annual golf trip to the Destin area. We found it to be perfectly maintained and the furnishings were very clean and comfortable. The pool was a very short walk away and the view of the bay and golf course were wonderful. I have renter numerous condos thru the years and this property is right at the top of the list. The owner lives close by and was very easy to work with. Everything is first class, you won't be disappointed.

The condo was just about as perfect as could be. Quite, relaxing and with any amenities that are needed to make your stay away from home completely satisfying. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for complete R & R but close by any entertainment and restaurants that you would desire.

My Wife and I stayed at this beautifully furnished townhome for the month of March. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Right on the golf course with a beautiful view of the bay. We have reserved it again for part of Sept. and Oct. of this year. A real treat. Highly recommended.

We just returned from our 4th straight summer renting this wonderful condo, and wish we were still there. Perfect condo in quiet area of Sandestin, yet close to everything! Huge pool is a short walk from the front door. The bay is just steps from the condo for fishing, or fish just outside the back screened porch in the pond (catch/release). The beach is only 5 minutes away, as are the Silver Sands Outlets for shopping. Park right outside the front door for easy access. Enjoy cooking in the fully equipped kitchen or eat out at many close by restaurants. This condo is professionally decorated and a wonderful place to stay! It has all the comforts of home! We WILL be back in 2011!

Just returned from a week in paradise. This home is located in the North Shore area, right near the 15th green of the Links golf course. It was decorated beautifully and has all the amenities you could ask for. The community pool (it is huge) is a short 2 minute walk from the front door. You can not go wrong renting this fabulous home. I guarantee that you will enjoy yourselves, just like we did. The owner Jim was wonderful to work with as well. Looking forward to going back next year.

Brought the New Year in at Destin, Florida. Beautiful condo, wonderfully decorated. The heater on the patio was a wonderful way to stay warm and enjoy the views. Played golf, enjoyed wonderful crab claws at AJs (wonderful view and enjoyed the boats bringing in the fish) Spent New Years Eve at Rum Runners in the village. Awesome entertainment (dual pianos) Good shopping, good food, good times and good friends.!

This property was perfect for our Thanksgiving family reunion. It is located in a quiet area of Sandestin resort but close to all amenities. The condo was fully equipped to handle our Thanksgiving dinner and had a beautiful view of the golf course. I would recommend this property for summer or winter vacations. There were an abundance of linens in all bathrooms and the large TV in the family room was a plus.
