  We absolutely enjoyed our stay. There were 11 of us, and all of us thought this is definitely a wonderful place to stay! The owners were hospitable, and we thoroughly enjoyed their services. I would definitely consider coming back to rent this house again. Thank you for offering your house!

  We were so excited about staying here; it seemed the perfect size for all the family, 9 adults 2 children it was a short walk to the beach. After the owner’s son left, we took a better look around and found that it was not very clean. We uncovered the pool table found all kind of rubbish, there was also a fishy smell, we notice the bottom bedrooms also had an unfavorable odor and there was mold underneath the bathroom sink on the bottom floor. The top floor had a nice layout, enjoyed the jukebox, the top bedroom was large but it felt too warm even with the floor fan on, we were unable to open any windows or leave the door that open to the balcony open because it didn’t have a screen. For extra sleeping there was an air mattress but during the night it would deflate. The was a couch that was a full size bed on the ground floor. There was an over flow of trash, we were ask to place 3 large containers in the front on Sunday night for Monday morning, we arrived on a Fri. there wasn’t a container for us to place our trash in, it would have been better if the cleaning crew had at least emptied 1 of the containers. What we found in the tub in the master bath pretty much made our stay there the most uncomfortable. We were there for a wedding, we were not in a position to pack up and look for another place as it was we left a day early. The owner did call and apologize for the condition of the house, she reduce the rental fee by 50.00.

  Owner response: It is my number one priority to have my guests show up and be happily surprised that the house looks exactly as in the photos and to most even better than they ever expected. I regret and am somewhat confounded that these guests left such a poor review. We did get a complaint their first night there which we felt we handled on Friday evening and immediately offered a $50 credit for their inconvenience. We did not hear another word from our guests until they sent an email after they left early, without any notification. I did apologize for the full trash cans, as apparently a prior guest may have forgotten to set out the trash cans on the previous Monday. The leak we were unaware of under the sink that caused a small amount of mildew has been repaired. I have used the same cleaning people for the past seven years and I believe every other review I have validates the excellent job they do. I will check the queen aerobed that was purchased one month prior to our guests stay and make sure there is no defect. I am happy to discuss any concerns our future guests may have regarding this review.

  The house was awesome, everything the owner said and more! I was very happy with everything about the house and owner. She was very accommodating from letting us check in early to lowering the minimum days. The house was very roomy, from the garage to the balcony to the kitchen...everything was A+. I would definitely stay there again!

  My family loved your beautiful beach house! It was so much more than what you advertised. There was spacious room and plenty of things for all of us to do. When the teenage boys werent playing pool, they were using your wet suits and boogie boards all weekend long. We especially loved your juke box with 500+ selections and we danced and sang the tunes. Lots of fun! Your kitchen was spacious so that our families could cook together! Your master bedroom and bath was great also. I was grateful for the washer and dryer.. it got plenty of use. I was able to park my car in garage and 3 cars in driveway. This is rare in the area. Your home was extremely clean and well taken care of too. We were just a few steps to the beach and it was so very convenient. This was one of our best vacations ever and definitely will come back! Thank you!

  My family of 10 spent 5 days in this beautiful home. We loved the juke box, the pool table, the short hop to the beach and the boys loved the wet suits so they could go boogie boarding. The only suggestion for improvement would be lighter dining room chairs, but other than that,it was perfect. Thank you for keeping it in such beautiful condition.

  We just finished our stay at this home. We have stayed at probably 15 different properties in the Oxnard/Ventura beach area over the years and this is one of our favorites. Unlike most homes that offer 3+ bedrooms this home is so open and spacious. There are two large living areas, we had a houseful and NEVER did I feel cramped or overrun by others. A quick rundown: Pros: Lots of space! Great views from the balcony. Onsite parking for 5+ vehicles (yes off street!) Very helpful property manager Fully stocked with lots of beach items Clean and well maintained Cons: While I didnt really find any cons, I would only offer a suggestion to put in an outdoor shower, this makes it nice to not track in sand into the indoor showers etc. ~Anyhow we had a great time in this home, and would highly recommend it to others. We have a small family so normally it wouldnt work for us, but when vacationing with others again, we will definately be back.

  We stayed at this property for 10 days over the Christmas holiday. Everything was just as described or even better. The home was very clean and had just about everything we could need from dishes and blenders to sand toys, towels and wetsuits. Susie was very accomodating and kind. You are truly steps from the beach and can hear the waves with the slider door open. There is plenty of room to spread out. Our kids loved the juke box and pool table as well. We plan on staying here again as soon as we are able!

  Hi Lisa, Just wanted to let you know what a wonderful time we had at your beach house. Everything was better than the description. Plenty of room to stretch out and relax, so close to the beach, you could hear the waves crashing on the beach all day long! In addition, my teenagers and toddler had plenty to do, between kayaking in the bay, listening to the juke box or strolling over to the nearby park. The pool table also added to our enjoyment. Thank you. Awesome, awesome, awesome!!! Can't wait to come back next year!

  Our expectations were met. Perfect floor plan for our family with plenty of room. Would recommend to anyone. Description was accurate. Property spotless. Owner was very helpful and professional.
