This 3000 sq ft log chalet sits on a large quiet property, close but just far enough from the nightly revelry of the Village. The block it is situated in was recently voted 5th best street to live at in Whistler. It features 4 bedrooms and a home theatre in a separate den. There are 3 1/2 bathrooms with 2 being en-suite. The open floor plan on the main floor is comfortable and relaxing with a stone fireplace visible from almost every angle. The media room is equipped with a 58-inch widescreen plasma TV and an ancillary theatre surround. There is a mahogany pool table for the nights spent in and a 7-person covered hot tub located just off the 350 sq ft deck for soaking those tired muscles. Wireless internet Wi-Fi access is available and the master bedroom features a 46-inch Aquos widescreen LCD TV.
Whistler has been ranked the number one all-season resort in North America and will play host to the 2010 Winter Olympics! Whistler can provide endless trails for hiking and biking, 3 world class golf courses, rock climbing, swimming in either the nearby Alta Lake or at Meadow Park Sports Complex, windsurfing, wakeboarding, kayaking, canoeing, tennis, bungee jumping, zip trekking and all terrain vehicle rentals. Whistler Village is located 4 minutes away by car and offers shopping that encompasses an eclectic mix of local artisans and high end boutiques. There is a myriad of first class restaurants - or casual dining in the open air setting of the 'Village Stroll'. Should you be needing a little pampering there are several full service spas offering to take care of you. Our home is 50 yds from the Valley Trail that links most of Whistler and is a ten minute walk to the Meadow Park Sports Complex and a 25 minute wonderful stroll to the locally popular Rainbow Park at Alta Lake.

Why the Owner Chose Alpine Meadows
As teenagers, we both learned to ski on Whistler Mountain and have been enjoying the outdoors since the liquor store was a trailer in the parking lot >> now known as Whistler Village. It was always a dream to have a winter vacation home in Whistler and even as we were first married, we knew that we would ultimately have a very special place in Whistler. That dream was realized in January of 2001, 4 years ahead of schedule.
The Unique Benefits at this Chalet
This home is set on a lovely large level lot with enough trees for privacy. The large driveway can hold 6 - 8 cars even in the winter. Snow removal is contracted annually. In the summer, you can hear the creek babbling as you fall asleep...
