Hi, I'm Steve Fisher and I'm retired. I like to hike, golf, play tennis, boat, watch wildlife, travel, read, and play the piano. I like to spend summers in Canada, and winter in the Southwest US. I would like to share this beautiful home and place with others, and hope you will take part in this Special Bit of Paradise!
Why the Owner Chose Pender Islands
The gulf islands of Southwest Canada just might be one of the most beautiful places in North America! The recreational opportunities are unlimited, and the natural ecosystem is still largely intact, making it a top vacation destination from all over the world. I found this house on the ocean with a dock, and quickly realized how special and unique all the features really were when I met the people on the island and in this neighborhood. And of course, the wildlife is incredible as well. The Orcas swim by all summer long, the Eagles have nested in the tree next door every year, and the deer will take carrots right from your hand! The ocean waterways here in the Vancouver Island area are unparalleled in beauty and accessibility for most all size boats. So it was only natural that this home came to the top of my list in North America.

We enjoyed a wonderful week in a lovely location with a superb setting!! We fed the deer & fawns (she's so tame!),watched the whales (whoopee!),kayaked,hiked,went wine-tasting,watched the eagle fish and had some much anticipated R & R! Read some novels,too! The sunsets were gorgeous! This is truly God's country and we are fortunate enough to enjoy it. There are not enough adjectives to describe your place...truly fantastic!! As a boating family we, love spending time on the water..it's all here! For us as a family, it was the best vacation since the girls were small. We actually got them all together for a few days! Thank you for a wonderful week! We were greeted by a pod of whales just off the beach within an hour of our arrival! Kayaked to seal rocks, caught crabs, clams, made fresh picked blackberry pie. Hiked to Roe Lake and bicycled around too. Enjoyed meeting your very helpful and friendly neighbors. All in all the perfect vacation week for us in a very special place!
