Perfect location

Guest: Happy Traveler (Minnesota)
Date of Stay: 11/23/11 Review Submitted: 11/27/11

The condo is situated in a perfect location - an easy and very short walk to the village area and great walking routes right outside your door. The owner was very responsive and friendly about a couple of minor concerns we had upon arrival. Great owner to work with! The Cohasset area is stunningly beautiful. We'd love to return in the warmer months and stay in this condo again. The outdoor spaces are gorgeous and the inside is lovely and comfortable. Lovely rental. I would definitely stay again.

We arrived late on Monday but found everything ready for us. Next day while getting our meal ready we discovered that the gas had been turned off by other occupants. The owner quickly came to our rescue, found us an excellent restaurant to have dinner, and had the gas company turn on our gas. All in all, the rooms were clean, the beds were wonderful, the showers decent, and the place charming. Just wish we 3 (from NE, IA and IL) were better at directions to and from Cohasset!

Perfect Family Getaway

We stayed at this wonderful condo for two full weeks in August. The accomodations were exactly what we hoped for - comfortable beds, a modern kitchen and a great outdoor space for cooking and relaxing. The home's location is downtown which is perfect for visting Cohasset's restaurants, shops and local sites. And the fact that Sandy Beach - a picture-perfect spot - is less than a mile away makes this property a true find. We're already planning a return trip.

Great Condo & location

Guest: Bob (Wichita, Kansas)
Date of Stay: 10/06/10 Review Submitted: 10/17/10

We stayed here for three days as part of our vacation to several site on the east coast. The condo design & furnishings were very well done and were accurately reflected in the photographs for this property. It is in a great location 1/2 a block from the ocean and just a few block to downtown. We did not have enough time to use the outdoor amenities at the condo, but I would most definitely stay there again.

Excellent Stay, Convenient Location, Nicely Updated and Comfortable

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The unit is spacious, sunny, updated with modern conveniences (nice kitchen, good showers) and a convenient short walk to the village center (bakery - nice restaurants) and an even shorter walk to the harbor. The owner also provides a temporary beach permit to Sandy beach which was wonderful for the kids. We recommend staying here.

rented for bridesmaids and LOVED it!

Guest: Nadine (Boston, MA)
Date of Stay: 09/02/10 Review Submitted: 10/12/10

I rented this good-looking condo for my bridesmaids for my wedding weekend in Cohasset, MA. I couldn't have been happier! The house was stunning; close to both the beach and town, and very cozy. My friends loved that the back porch area had a chic garden feel to it- the candles and furniture were so fun! We took a ton of wedding pictures in the house, in front of the house and in it's garden :)

Cohasset Rental

Guest: Josie (West Kilbride, Ayrshire, Scotland)
Date of Stay: 09/11/10 Review Submitted: 09/27/10

We were a bit disappointed with this rental, the pictures make it look much better than it actually is. The house itself could be lovely but the old fashioned dark furniture and bizarre ornaments make the living space very gloomy, it looks like the furniture has been picked up from an old persons home There was an old glass table in the living room which was all marked due to age, I had to cover it with a napkin as it was so bad. The suite is a bit more modern but yet again covered with dark throwsl. The bedrooms were a bit better but the master could do with a nice chair to put your dressing gown on etc. The bathrooms were the best bit about the house as they are modern and have good showers. The kitchen itself has the usual stuff but only 3 wine glasses so too bad if 4 people drink wine. The outside space is again disappointing, there is a balcony from the master bedroom with two sun loungers which are showing signs of age. There were steps down to a rather unkempt garden area which is the only part of the outside which gets the sun so we had to carry the loungers down to this area which was a pain as the loungers were really heavy. The table and chairs outside the main door are okay but again an old unit there with crazy ornaments that are chipped etc. The barbecue is charcoal and not that great so we didn't use it at all. Cohasset itself is a nice little town and it was handy to get into Boston using both the Ferry and Rail. No information at the rental about the town or indeed anything nearby such as the local supermarket etc, we had to get a map from one of the Estate Agents in town which helped getting around a bit better. Another thing ladies no hair dryer, which considering the cost of our stay is totally unacceptable. I would go back to this area but would not stay at this rental unit, I have stayed in much better.

Owner response:We understand we cannot please everybody's design sense, but I must say I am pleased with the decor results.....not sure what the bizarre ornaments are......plenty of glasses...... The gas grill, (already purchased) maps, and hair dryer on other hand are a wonderful idea and I will be sure to add them! Thank you, Hope you enjoyed your vacation, Breda.

Fabulous Condo!

Guest: Maria68 (Biloxi, MS)
Date of Stay: 06/29/10 Review Submitted: 07/15/10

We recently rented this wonderful condo and we couldn't have been more pleased! It is immaculate and well maintained with lots of natural light and great cross-breezes. The beds are extremely comfortable and the linens are stylish and soft...big, fluffy towels too (oh, and great water pressure in the shower). Having a full size washer and dryer in the unit, as well as a dishwasher, is a big plus. The private patio with the charcoal grill, multiple candles, and charming white "Christmas" lights in twig balls hanging from the new pergola made it a magical place to enjoy cocktails with friends. The location is perfect too. You are at Cohasset Harbor with wonderful restaurants within walking distance. The Salt House, with its outdoor deck right on the water, is about a 5 minute walk; French Memories, with its delicious pastries, coffee, and sandwiches, is about an 8 minute walk; as is Bia Bistro, with its outdoor patio right in the center of town. The Cohasset station for commuter rail into Boston is a short drive and a great way to get into the city. Breda and Jimmy are wonderful hosts and very attentive to every request. We will be back again next summer!
