Our house, 13B Center Street, is located just off Center directly behind The Palms Gift Shop. It sits between the outside eating areas of two restaurants; The Center Street Kitchen and Taco Boy.
This house has recently received an extensive renovation. The bathrooms and kitchen were totally remodeled. The master bedroom has a king size bed and comes equipped with a computer allowing internet access. The master bath has a large beautifully tiled shower featuring dual shower heads. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms have queen size beds where the 2nd bedroom has a private bath. All bedrooms have ample closet and drawer space, cable TV and their own unique private entrance. The living room has a new leather recliner and couch which pulls out to a queen size bed. The utility room has a large capacity heavy duty washer and dryer. The house has fresh paint both inside and out with new carpet and vinyl flooring. The electrical and plumbing systems were extensively upgraded along with a new central heating and air conditioning system to ensure a trouble free vacation environment. A covered off street parking space is provided.
Items included in the remodeling are a new Samsung 42” LCD 120Hz HDTV, the new 2009 Wii video game play station with Sports Resort software and two rechargeable Wii MotionPlus remotes, a new 32" LCD HDTV, dishwasher, computer with internet access, microwave, kitchen table and chairs, leather sleeper sofa and recliner, ceiling fans, wireless telephone system, electronic front door lock, bedroom linens and bath towels.
Utilities include High Speed Internet connection, unlimited nationwide long distance telephone calling and Digital High Definition cable TV with many free movie channels.

The Unique Benefits at this House
The Charleston County Parks and Recreation Department provides two lifeguard protected swimming areas on Folly Beach during the summer months. One is located on the front beach 300 feet from our house and the second is on the far west end at the Folly Beach County Park. Folly has many amenities with various restaurants, sports bars, surf bars, gift shops, surfboard rentals, real estate offices, a 1,000 ft fishing pier, miniature golf, Pantry convenience store, a Piggly Wiggly, masseuse, bike rentals, jet ski rentals, kayaking, parasailing, The Folly River Park, The Folly Beach County Park, US Post Office, City Hall with police and fire services, many churches, a library and so much more but wait… did I mention THE BEACH! The majority of these establishments are within 200 feet of your door step!! If you should tire of the beach and want a change, you are within 10 minutes of historic downtown Charleston. Here you can visit Fort Sumter where the first shot of the Civil War was fired! You can take Charleston horse drawn carriage tours, visit museums, antique shops, tour historic homes, take in a movie, visit the many Gardens, The Aquarium, Patriots Point featuring the WWII aircraft carrier Yorktown...the list is endless!! Hi, we are Cliff and Martha Harvey. We are listing our property as 13B Center, LLC and would like to give you a little history of the house. The property was used as a summer residence while my Mom & Dad operated what was then known as The Sanitary Restaurant which is now The Palm Gift Shop. After my father's death in 1975, my Mom continued to operate the restaurant year round with the help of my wife Martha. My Mom decided to retire and sold the business part of the property in 1997. Since her passing the house has been totally renovated and fully furnished for vacation renters. Martha and I have lived on Folly since our marriage in 1977 and our permanent residence is less than one mile from this house. We are both employed by the Medical University of South Carolina and have a great time living on Folly and enjoy sharing our home with family and friends throughout the year. Martha and I not only manage the property but we also prepare it for our guest as well. It is our goal to make this vacation one of your most treasured memories!
