You will not want to leave this property! This private cove location offers dramatic tidal and mountain views and is a bird watchers dream. The property is beautifully landscaped with both lawn, wooded and rocky areas to enjoy. Children will love to explore the tide pools. There is a dock to access a deepwater mooring, launch kayaks (provided) and swim.
The house is a well appointed English Tudor style "cottage" of the early 1920's with many recent updates. The gourmet kitchen is fully equipped with a Wolf 6 burner gas stove, local slate countertops and an oversized farm style sink. The first floor master suite with private bath has a separate soaking tub, oversized walk-in rain shower and a double vanity sink all with marble finishes. Also on the first floor is a beautiful large great room with 2 fireplaces, multiple seating areas, wet bar and large dining area all with magnificent views. The second floor of the main house has 3 comfortable bedrooms (the Landing Room with 2 twin beds and cribs if desired, The Cove Room with 1 Queen Bed and spectacular cove view and The Forest Room with 2 twin antique plantation poster beds with a forest view) and 2 baths.
The guest cottage, which was remodeled in 2009, is very bright and private. It is perfectly suited for a couple or family of 4. It has two rooms (1 queen bed and 1 day bed with a cot available)full bathroom, and a wet bar with refrigerator.
Weekly cleaning service is provided and additional services are available.
