  Well we "JUST" returned from our 7 day trip to Hillcrest Villa - Jamaica. This was the first vacation in over 10 years where we could get"all our kids together at the same time...so I must say I was a little nervous as we rented a home in another island last fall and was so disappointed when we arrived. So on this trip I did speak to some of the previous guests and also asked alot of questions from Stefano (and THANK YOU for being so patient with me Stefano!) He answered quickly all my questions. We arrived on the 19th of March, Raymond the driver was waiting right outside as we were told. It was about a 40 min drive to the Villa...and once we arrived...well I would really have a hard time explaining. I can say...the pictures are EXACTLY as the Villa looks...but it is 100 times better in person! We met the rest of the family (staff)...Ms Carmen, Dell, Casanda and Winston. They made us feel comfortable immediately upon arrival! This home is situated so well that with 8 of us there we felt like we could do just about anything alone...some of our kids might be playing pool..some snorkeling, some kayaking, some napping, some just chatting with Dell and Ms Carmen about the food and how to prepare it.... The water front was probably our most favorite place, the way they have the rocks to keep the area out front calm...we would sit for hours and just listen to the waves. The snorkeling right there around the rocks was awesome...the kayaking onto the reef and beyond was unbelievable...watching the fisherman each morning and the ships in the distance at night.... The meals were absolutely wonderful...we tried many of the authentic dishes and everyone was MORE then content and filled each meal..and we have some picky eaters! The home itself is beautiful...the marble floors, high ceiliings, full spray showers...but even with the luxary it was very comfortable and after a few days you feel so relaxed and at home. We thought we would be bored as we have a very active family - our kids are 17-22-29...and we were worried that not being at a all inclusive (as we've always done), might have them stir crazy after a couple days....we were SO WRONG! All of our kids had absolutely the time of their lives and could not stop saying it through the week...how wonderful it was. Stefano...your home is gorgeous - thank you for sharing it with us. Your family (staff) were so wonderful to our family - thank them all for us! We hope to be back next year for sure

  Recommended for: Age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  Our stay at Hillcrest Villas was so over the top great that I didn’t want to share it with anyone. But Stefano and the team of Ms. Carmen, Cheryl, Dell, Winston and Raymond do such a good job of making you feel at home and a part their family that I had to share it. We landed a few days before Christmas 2012 and stayed a total of 8 days Sat. to Sat. We were two families 9 in total, 5 of our kids 15 – 21 yrs old and 4 adults. We were picked up at the airport by Raymond in a 12 passenger van and he safely delivered us to Hillcrest Villa (Montego Bay Air Port 40 minute drive). We then started one of the top 10 vacations of my adult life and I have been all of over the world. The Villa is outstanding, rooms are very clean and comfortable, and the food was fantastic each and every day. Plenty to do on the property, pool area is great with plenty of chairs, cushions and towels, music etc. Stefano has snorkel gear (snorkeling was great) and kayaks, the downstairs dock area is an added plus to this property. It is set up for easy access to the ocean and another great get- a- way spot to just relax away from the upstairs. The property is kept pristine with a few “Happy Nappy areas”; we even decorated a tree in the front yard with Dell on Christmas Eve. We went Zip-Lining and River Tubing within 20 minutes’ drive from the Villa. The rest of the time enjoyed just hanging at the Villa. My buddy Angelo and I experienced shopping at the local fish and vegetable markets with Raymond and Cheryl one morning and afternoon, a great experience. We all plan to return frequently, it is really a great destination for families, adults anyone who wants to just get away from the rat race. Sandy and Gang.

  My last vacation prior to Jamaica was at a beautiful resort in Bermuda. When I arrived everything seemed wonderful until I decided to play some music in my room at around 10 o'clock. Within minutes I had security knocking at my door because another guest called in a complaint. My radio was not very loud at all. Needless to say this left a bad taste in my mouth. I thought to myself what is the point of shelling out all of this money for a vacation where I have limited privacy and I am at the mercy of complaining guests. Nice scenery is important but a good atmosphere is more important, and HillCrest Villa caters to both. After landing in Montego Bay Jamaica I had a driver named Raymond who is your driver throughout your stay pick me up in a black pathfinder and take me to my destination.As we arrived we were greeted by the housekeeper Ms. Carmen.This woman is an amazing cook who prepares breakfast and dinner for you daily during your stay. Her cooking alone makes me want to return there soon. When you first walk through the front door you realize that you are someplace special. The first room that you pass through is an indoor-outdoor dining area with screen doors that open up to the patio and LED lighted pool. There is also a sliding glass door to the right which leads you into the master living room and bedroom. This is the most beautiful part of the Villa's interior with its marble floors, tiki hut roof, and wicker ceiling fans. Both rooms are equipped with big screen flat tv's and there are also powerful wall mount Mitsubishi AC units to keep you cool and comfortable. The master bedroom is very big with an impressive and equally big custom hand-carved wooden extra-king sized bed, and master bathroom.The master living room is also equipped with an ice maker right next to the modern kitchen where your meals are prepared. When exiting through the screen door towards the pool as you turn left there is another entrance which leads you to a hallway connecting two more guest bedrooms and a bathroom. Both bedrooms have sliding glass doors which lead to the gorgeous grounds. About 50 feet away there is a guest house with 2 more bedrooms and another bathroom. Not only does the Villa have its own pool but it has its own private beach as well where you can go swimming, diving, snorkeling, jet skiing, or fishing on a private boat with Marga Man. HillCrest Villa has the same accommodations of any 5 star resort but in this case the resort belongs to you. I loved it!

  Hi Stefan, Happy New Year! I wanted to tell you that we had a spectacular time at Hillcrest Villa over Christmas. You've managed to carve out a piece of paradise, heaven, tranquility, so special, what a gem! Please see my sister-in-law's photos at the link below when you get a moment. I think you should use some of her photos of the Villa on the VRBO website because the ones you have there simply do not do the Villa justice! Everyone in our party kept saying that the Villa exceeded their expectations in beauty, cleanliness, organization, and comfort, not to mention the professionalism and excellence of the staff (Carmen, Dell, Winston, Sheryl, and Ray). Everyone was so accomodating - making special cookies using our recipes - preparing shrimp and lamb curry dishes, preparing authentic Jamaican food, and the list goes on and on. It felt like family. We hope to visit the Villa again one day. What a blessing that I came upon your Villa and that it all worked out. It was a dream come true for me and my Mom.   Our family enjoyed a spectacular time at Hillcrest Villa over Christmas 2011. The owner, Stefan, has managed to carve out a piece of paradise, heaven, tranquility, so special, what a gem! Photos of Hillcrest Villa simply do not do the Villa or the location justice! When you look out over the ocean, nothing obstructs the view! Everyone in our party kept saying that the Villa exceeded their expectations in beauty, cleanliness, organization, and comfort, not to mention the professionalism and excellence of the staff, including cook, housekeepers, gardener, and driver. Everyone was so accomodating - making special holiday cookies using our recipes - preparing our favorite shrimp and lamb curry dishes, preparing authentic Jamaican food, and the list goes on and on. It felt like family. We hope to visit the Villa again one day. What a blessing that we came upon your Villa and that it all worked out. It was a dream come true for our family.   We had an excellent vacation at Hillcrest Villa. The location was ideal, the villa was clean, spacious and comfortable, and we were treated wonderfully by Carmen, Dell, Winston and Raymond! The tasty Jamaican dishes really added to our experience. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and loved snorkeling every day. Stefan was great to deal with. We will return!!

  We stayed at Hillcrest Villa with our 2 children, their spouses, our son's mother in law and 3 grandchildren (one 8 years old, and 2 infants under 7 months). The villa experience was wonderful. The facility is very nicely appointed and the staff are great. Excellent cooking and service, and very nicely kept grounds and pool. The owner was very attentive to detail and had everything arranged for us. He even arranged a van and driver at our cost for the 11 days we were there. We had all our meals at the villa. Carmen is such a good cook, we had no need to look for restaurants. The location is great (only about 40 minutes from Montego Bay airport). The view from the villa is gorgeous. We would highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxing, pampered vacation in Jamaica. We hope to return some day soon.
