The Villages is a gated community located within the prestigious Mauna Lani Resort famous for the Francis H. I’I Brown, 36 hole golf complex. Dual Master Suites make bringing adult guests or sharing this home easy!
The three bathroom suites include travertine marble, cherry cabinets and Kohler fixtures. The interior features 2 zones of central air conditioning for your comfort. The main outdoor lanai provides a complete outdoor kitchen featuring a Lazyman BBQ. The Dual master suites offer one King and one Queen bed and the third guest bedroom has 2 twin beds perfect for kids or made into a King for another couple. All bedrooms suites offer walk in showers. The laundry room is complete with full sized Fisher and Paykel washer and dryer.
The Villages private recreation area is located just steps away and features a pool with waterfall and separate heated spa, exercise room and entertainment area with BBQ. I can't say enough about this condo. My daughter and I stayed there for a week and had a great time. It was clean -- very clean -- and all the furniture is new and nice. The pool is walking distance, the beach is ten minutes by car (go to the Beach Club, not the Hotel, and use the key-card), and the market is walking distance too, or a short drive if you have a lot of groceries. The beach at the Club is great. Bring goggles -- the fish are right there, ten feet from the sand. If you have kids, get them water shoes. And, for a fee, you can take the kids to the Hilton for a day -- they have a massive pool with multiple waterslides. It's about an easy 15 minute drive. Again, we had a great time.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family and I stayed here for seven nights and I wish it could have been forever. The townhouse was spacious, comfortable, and very relaxing. A great outdoor kitchen allowed us to cook outside and enjoy the warm weather with some good food and adult beverages. My kids loved the place. My kids chased the local wildlife (geckos) for hours in the beautiful foliage around the townhouse. My wife and I used the workout facility on the property which was a perfect way to start our day. The private beach was great and the golf cart made it easy to get there. I highly recommend staying here and I can't imagine staying anywhere else when we go to the Big Island

We had the best time! The condo is in perfect condition and had everything we needed, including beach towels. It is a short walk from the pool and gym which was so clean and nice. It has a rec room and a BBQ as well. We enjoyed walking to the nearby shopping centers that are filled with high-end shops and a gourmet grocery store. The condo is centrally located to the nearby spa and pro shops as well as the private beach. We couldn't have had a better time and have already booked our trip for next year!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, pet owners, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

My family (all 6 of us) enjoyed our stay on the Big Island. We took one nephew (26) and three teenagers (19,17 & 13) and they all had a great time. The pictures on this site don't do justice to the townhouse, it is very luxurious, well-appointed and well-maintained. The complex is conveniently located, less then 5 minutes is a grocery store. The pool is just around the corner with a hot tub and workout facilities. So much better then renting a hotel because everyone had space. We ate most of our breakfasts in the townhouse and some dinners. We thoroughly enjoyed eating BBQ at Huli Sue's in Waimea (30 - 45 min drive), horse back riding in Waipio Valley and nearby Hapuna Beach is the most beautiful beach I have ever seen.
