After several years seeking a comfortable, roomy vacation home, we happened upon this charming 1500+ sq/ft condo with all the ambience needed to submerse yourself in a relaxed, no worries environment. Only 1.8 miles to Stratton's Access Road, you will find yourself centrally located, and minutes away from many other quaint towns and specialty shops.
One of the nice features is the property is situated on 27 acres of private land, and large front yard for snowman making, or other outdoor activity. Or, if you prefer, grab the newspaper from the nearby general store and sip coffee in solitude. Or simply kick back in the summer with a nice beverage and watch the sunset from the yard.
The condo offers all the amenities and utensils needed to enjoy a memory making vacation with family and friends. After long days on the slopes, bike rides or simple adventures, you will be excited to return to a quiet locale and relax with a cup of hot chocolate or perhaps a glass of wine by the fireplace that also can be used as a woodstove. There are many board games and books available for your enjoyment. There is also a TV, VCR,iPod player and DVD player available.

We are an out of state family, who have enjoyed the state of Vermont for many years. From our young single days with our friends, to our engagement at Stratton, to now as a family of four. Like their parents, our kids have fallen in love with all that Vermont has to offer. From the long, fun days on the ski slopes, to post skiing activities that include hot chocolate by a warm fire, to simple autumn days where the mountains are at their peak colors and the crisp cool autumn air brings about a certain peace.
Why the Owner Chose Jamaica
Having a long vacation history in the southern Vermont ski areas of Stratton and Okemo, we finally settled on this charming place in the Stratton area. Close enough to easily access Stratton yet, remote enough to maintain a certain level of privacy. The space is perfect and can easily sleep 8-10 people.
