CASA MONET is a beautiful one bedroom apartment located above Zacateros, at the entrance to the Barrio de la Aldea. It is above the famous Cafe Monet, which is known for its beautiful art and European ambiance, not to mention its fabulous food.
From the fountained entry foyer, you will step into the beautiful living room, with a gas fireplace, dining area and kitchen, all open to each other. The patio off the living room and bedroom looks over Zacateros Street where you can watch the street life of San Miguel.
(Two sets of doors block noise and dust.) The bedroom has a queen-sized bed with beautiful woodwork and a lovely bathroom that is adjacent to it. Another 1/2 bath is off the living room. Upstairs, there is a roof-top terrace which offers views of the surrounding city.
Casa Monet is located across from the Instituto de Allende, and is just a 5 minute walk to the famous Jardin. Great shopping, restaurants and groceries are nearby and we offer a breakfast of your choice for you and your companion, 6 days a week at Cafe Monet. (The restaurant is closed on Tuesdays.)
A housekeeper is available 2 days a week, and there are laundry facilities for your use.

Year Purchased: 2007
My husband and I have been in the rental property and construction business in Boulder Colorado for 40 years. I have been staging homes for sale for several years. When we purchased a home in San Miguel and built a restaurant, we decided to expand our business into San Miguel. We are very proud of our vacation properties and enjoy renting them.
Why the Owner Chose Centro
My brother and I bought the building to build a restaurant. We decided to re-model the 3 apartments above the restaurant. Two of the apartments are rented year around and the 3rd is used as a vacation rental. The location is central to the City and is a wonderful and easy area to access.
The Unique Benefits of this Apartment
This rental unit is wonderfully located for access to most areas of the City of San Miguel. It is above our restaurant, Cafe Monet, which has become a destination for many of the City locals. We have wonderful food, a beautiful atmosphere and are well known for our great breakfasts. We offer complimentary breakfast and coffee to our guests 6 days a week. The unit is beautifully furnished and has every amenity that can be offered for a trouble-free vacation.
