In the kitchen you'll find everything you need to make a great breakfast or a hearty dinner or treats for the kids. If it's the cook's vacation, you are a short walk from the best pizza in town and a breakfast cafe that makes home made bread and goodies.
The dining room table seats 8 for food or fun. We have a great collection of games and DVDs which you could be watching from the comfort of the leather recliners or the comfy couch that is also a queen sleeper sofa with a brand new mattress. You can pop popcorn and watch movies on the flat screen TV or just watch the fire in the fireplace. For more activity, the rec center is just steps away and houses a pool table, electronic games as well as a swimming pool and 4 hot tubs.
The master bedroom has a brand new, king size bed with a memory foam mattress. There are dual side tables and wall mounted reading lights. The TV sits on a full length dresser with mirror. The master has a door to the deck, where you can enjoy the view or breakfast! Both bathrooms have tubs for a relaxing soak after a busy day and heat lamps to ensure a quick warm up if you've been outside all day in the cold.
The second bedroom is a kids dorm with 2 sets of bunk beds with new mattresses. We have high thread count linens to help ensure a comfortable nights sleep. There is a humidifier in the kids closet, for those of you not used to the dry climate.

Why the Owner Chose Hi Country HausWe have relatives that own in this building and after spending a couple of holidays and ski weekends with them we decided this was for us. It's nice not battling the I-70 traffic and there are tons of bike trails and other outdoor opportunities. We like that its not as developed as some other ski towns.
The Unique Benefits at this CondoIt's a Grand Getaway. This is Grand county and encompasses Grand Lake and the surrounding area. So you've got water sports as well as world class skiing and everything in between!

We are a family of four who loves to ski! We also enjoy other outdoor activities and they are plentiful in this area. We have relatives who own other units in the building and they convinced us to buy this condo. We looked around for about a year before buying this in 2009. We have 2 kids who have activities that prevent us from coming up every weekend so thought we rent it out some. We hope you enjoy our Grand Getaway!

My family and I enjoyed the stay. The condo was clean, well appointed and decorated, and had everything we needed. Location was convenient to town, restaurants, ski lifts, etc. We will go back for sure!
Recommended for:Sightseeing, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, age 55+, romantic getaway.

Kay -Thanks for letting us rent your condo! We had a great time sledding, skiing (although they need snow big time) and spending time at your place. The kids swam and hot tubbed as well. You have a real nice place and we appreciate you sharing it with us.
