This beach house is by far the best rental we have stayed at on the beach. This was our 5th year staying on the island which we visit yearly, but the first time at Margie & Richard's beach house. The pix on the website say it all. We had no surprises when we first opened the door. The house is tastefully furnished with wall art and furnishings and we felt right at home--so comfortable. You can view the gulf and talk with people walking on the beach right from the deck. Shells galore! We have two dogs that absolutely loved running and swimming on the beach. The color of the water was absolutely gorgeous. We have already reserved our stay for 2014. We give this a 5 star rating. It was excellent.Recommended for: Pet owners, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

The location of Lees Beach House is absolutely delightful. The beach was beautiful and we even saw a sea turtle lay eggs. However, a part from the refrigerator door would fall off every time we opened the door, the toilet was not very stable, and the house was cleaner after I left than when I arrived. I am still being charged a cleaning fee. Plus, my deposit has yet to be returned six weeks after my departure date. The owner claims to have mailed out my deposit, but it was never received. I have contacted the owner about the deposit and she has told me she has sent out another check. This would be a great rental if the property was kept up a bit better and the deposit was returned in a timely manner.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 4/4
