Arguably the most spectacular condo in the gorgeous Estrella Del Mar beach and golf resort! Other condos in this complex can have a dark 'tunnel-like' feel, but being the end unit, we have large windows and sliding doors to show off the amazing, 180 degree view. The 1000 sq ft wrap-around deck complete with palm trees is the only thing separating you from the turquoise waters of the Sea of Cortez. 3 ½ miles of white sand beach beyond are private and vendor-free [you'll really appreciate this if you've ever walked the beaches of a tropical paradise harassed by strangers every step of the way!] A walk along the sand is often accompanied by dolphin sightings, flocks of pelicans, the occasional whale and adorable turtle hatchlings from Estrella’s private turtle sanctuary. More active pursuits include swimming, boogie boarding and horseback riding.
Inside the condo, a designer’s exquisite taste has furbished this spacious, 2 bedroom unit with only the best in appliances, furniture and fittings. The master bedroom has a deluxe king bed and private ensuite. The second bedroom has a comfy queen with ensuite bathroom. There’s a large, flat-screen TV, built-in stereo and custom bar, all in a luxurious, open setting with large windows letting in the sunlight and the sounds of the surf just beyond the magnificent deck.
If you ever tire of lounging on your private deck, the lovely infinity pool with swim-up bar and palapa are steps away, as is the Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed 18 - hole championship golf course, which is spectacular! At the club house is a wonderful restaurant (watch out for the delicious margaritas!) and a fitness facility.
You can take a shuttle around the resort for free, or you could expand your horizons and head into nearby Mazatlan, whose historic centre and Golden Zone are incomparable for your dining, shopping and sightseeing pleasure. We highly recommend at least one outing to ‘the big city’ and a drive around in the pulmonias, open-air taxis.
Although you might feel you’re in your own private oasis, you’re only 10 minutes from the airport, and a shuttle can be arranged to bring you directly to your door. Even groceries can be pre-ordered! There’s a separate laundry room with washer and dryer in the condo, wireless internet and a telephone for local calls. But you may just choose to leave the world behind you as you luxuriate in this private piece of heaven.

Why the Owner Chose Mazatlan
We'd heard about EDM from both a friend and an uncle who had purchased there. So we went down for a look, and knew we'd found our paradise! We feel very lucky to have been able to acquire one of only 4 ground-level end units...the deck was massive (1000 sq ft!), private and gorgeous. And the Mexican people are absolutely the friendliest anywhere!
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
Having the ground floor corner unit means that a HUGE wraparound deck is the only thing between you and the pristine and private beach. You could never leave your deck and be completely satisfied. However, the infinity pool, 3 miles of white sand, a world-class golf course and the colorful city of Mazatlan are at your doorstep if you tire of lounging under your own palms in absolute privacy.

We're a couple of musicians who are lucky enough to share a desire for travel and a love of the ocean, coming as we do from Vancouver, Canada and Melbourne, Australia. We have travelled around the globe, but there's no view as stunning as the sunsets from our oceanfront deck at Estrella. The picture is of us at the Cliffs of Mother in Ireland...one of the beautiful places we've visited together.
