This condo complex is located on the boulevard along the nicest beach of Aruba: the Eagle Beach. The Eagle Beach has been awarded as one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the world! As you leave the town from Oranjestad towards the major hotels and resorts, pass the roundabout, take a left at the first traffic lights. Drive through and you will find the Oceania resort in less than 1 mile on your right hand. Beachfront, good access, close to town and to many exquisite restaurants of the island. Being on the nicest beach of Aruba, with regular bus service and taxis at your fingertips, a rental car is definitely not a requirement. However, if you wish to explore the more distant and remote areas of the island (which we think you should...), a rental car is then recommended.

The Amber Penthouse Two-bedroom condo is a - tastefully decorated with all Tommy Bahama home products - top floor condo, and has a master bedroom with a king-size bed, a walk-in closet and a full modern bathroom; a second bedroom with a queen size bed, built-in closets and a second modern full bathroom; a living room with a comfortable queen-size leather sofa-bed set; a full-sized fully equipped modern kitchen with 4-seat dining bar-table, a laundry/storage/facility corridor. There is a regular balcony stretching across the living room and the master bedroom also with a spectacular ocean view. Further, accessed through an internal spiral staircase, there is a tiled roof terrace stretching over the entire condo, with terrace furniture, outdoor shower, a full-size gas BBQ-grill, a large outdoor hot tub and a majestic ocean view.
The facilities include a large swimming pool, gym, business center, tennis court and playroom. Wonderful landscaping on the premises. Enjoy the tranquility and stroll on the beautiful beach in front of the complex.

Oceania Deluxe Beachfront Condominium resort is still the only beachfront residential resort on the island; all other beachfront resorts are either timeshare or hotel operations. A vacation experience in a condo is essentially different than one in a hotel or timeshare. Staying in one of our condos is much more relaxing, you have more privacy, you enjoy more living space and the beach or pool deck is generally not crowded. A better choice than to buy, or rent, at Oceania is not likely to be found elsewhere on the wonderful island of Aruba.

My name is Alan Riley, and I am the director/owner of Prestige Realty, Inc., which company has been operational in Aruba since 1998 as a real estate property management, brokerage and development firm. As such, my team and I manage numerous individually owned condos and villas on the island of Aruba. The first of our condos at this particular residential resort, Oceania Deluxe Beachfront Condos, was included in our listings in the second half of 2007. Since then, many other condos have been added to our listings, and as result of our excellent service provided to both condo owner and guests, in a relatively short period we now have the largest portfolio of individulaly owned luxury beachfront vacation condos on the island.

The Amber penthouse exceeded our expectations. Everything about the condo was excellent. The rooms were spacious and had all the amenities of home. We enjoyed the penthouse roof in the evenings having a glass of wine while watching the stars and moon overhead. The grounds and pools were immaculate. Being able to walk across the street to beautiful Eagle Beach was really convenient. The beach was clean and not crowded. The water was crystal clear.

Beautiful Condo!!!

I stayed in this unit with my family in mid-August and I was taken away by the shear beauty of both the condo as well as Eagle Beach. It was hands down the best vacation I have experienced. The condo itself was fully equipped with all the necessary items for the week including cookware, televisions, beach chairs, etc. The rooftop terrace provided stunning views of Eagle Beach at every sunrise and sunset. There is even a grill on the rooftop terrace where we grilled mostly every night. I felt the condo was a perfect size for my family for the week. The complex itself is conveniently located only a short drive from both the airport and local grocery store, yet far enough away from the high-rise district avoiding the high "tourist" areas of Aruba. The Oceania is gated and I felt safe at all times. The complex's amenities (pools, fitness centers, etc.) were well maintained and clean. Eagle Beach is just a short walk across the street from the Oceania. The soft white sand and clear water at the beach in front of the Oceania is something you see out of a movie. We settled under straw umbrella canopies and enjoyed the beautiful views Eagle Beach had to offer. There are various water-sports available as well. I highly recommend this unit for families as well as couples, as Eagle Beach provides the peace and quiet that make a great vacation. I will definitely rent this unit again next summer!

Memorable Trip!!

My husband, 6 yr old daughter, and I decided to stay at the Amber Penthouse in Aruba in October 2011. The apartment had a great layout for us. The master was spacious with a king bed, huge walk-in closet, and a large shower. Our daughter had a queen bed and her own bathroom. Even though she woke up before us each morning, she could go out to the kitchen and get breakfast without waking us. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you would need. The living room was comfortable and offered a breathtaking view of one of the pools as well as the ocean. Although the unit boasts a large roof top deck and hot tub, it was probably 95 degrees each day, so we did not spend much time up there. Instead, we stayed cool at one of the beautiful pools or spent time building sand castles by the ocean. It was a quiet surrounding, so if you are looking for a place with lots of kids and lots of things to do, this isn't the best choice. However, if you want a quiet, relaxing vacation, this is your spot!

Very Relaxing stay,

My family and I stayed in this unit at Oceania Resorts during the Irene hurricane that hit the east coast of America. And I am personally glad we did. This unit with all of the resorts amemities is a perfect place for a family that enjoys peace and quite to stay. The roof top terrace with hot tub, barbecue and million dollar view are beyond your imagination. Can't have wanted a better place to stay during our annual family vacation. My family absolutely loved the views, cleanliness of the unit and the location to the beach and pools. Can't wait unit next year's vacation because I know where we will be staying, same unit. Perfect for our family

We stayed at the Oceania in this unit in Feb 2011. The condo was beautiful, the bedrooms and closets were spacious, and most importantly, the place was very clean. Even my mom, who is super OCD, didn't have any complaints about cleanliness. We all LOVED the showers, which were big, beautiful, and had great water pressure. The condo had a full kitchen including a microwave and dishwasher, which was key for us to be able to wash bottles and other baby stuff. We had four adults and my 11 month old son and the place was perfect for us. We got crib and high chair service and the crib was clean and looked new. The high chair was a Graco (brand new out of the box), along with linens for the crib. I don't know if that is typical but it was greatly appreciated. The view from the room's balcony and the roof was beautiful. We enjoyed drinking our morning coffee on the balcony while watching the sun rise each day. The unit was well equipped both inside and out. The roof deck also has a 4 person diing table and chairs as well as a like new grill which is not shown in the photos. While we didn't enp up using the hot tub I did take the cover of to look and it it was clean and ready to use. The pool was beautiful. It is the kind that you can walk into which was perfect for our son. He could touch the ground and walk into the water with us holding his hands. There were plenty of palapas umbrellas at the pool and at the beach across the street to have a shady place to escape the hot sun. The resort's location on Eagle Beach's low-rise section is perfect because the beach is quiet and peaceful, not like the crowded and noisy high-rise section. Perfect for rest and relaxation. I would highly recommend this for anyone, but especially families because they had all the amenities of home, along with everything you'd want in a carribean retreat.

Best Vacation Ever!

I stayed in this condo with my family in early June, and I must say, it was the most pleasant and relaxing vacation I ever took. The rooms are very spacious with a rustic beach decor which allowed me to just sit back, relax, and forget what day it was. The closets were huge! We could have easily brought five more suitcases. The view from this condo is breathtaking! I really enjoyed drinking my morning coffee on the balcony, and even if you are not on the balcony the sliding glass doors show all Aruba has to offer. If you are traveling with a large group, this condo offers a very large roof top terrace with a grill and hot tub, which are great for entertaining. No one can deny the beauty of this island and this condo definitely added to my family's experience in Aruba.

The worst vacation ever!! Not that anyone cared!

REVIEW OF OCEANIA AMBER PENTHOUSE 512p 8/7 - 8/14: This is my review of my most recent trip to Aruba, we decided early on that this would be our greatest and probably most expensive trip ever. My family and i have been to Aruba twice before and rented timeshare weeks at "La" next door. When i started to plan this trip i thought i would try and go the extra mile this time, I viewed some fantastic penthouse apartments in Oceania and finally decided to try the AMBER PENTHOUSE @ OCEANIA. This turned out to be a huge disappointment, on the day we arrived we were met by a flunkie of the real estate management co. When booking this unit i dealt with the management co. owner or his assistant and was told that one of them would be there when we checked in, that did not happen but the man who showed up was a nice enough fella but man he was in such a rush to get us in the apartment and get himself out!!! When we first walked in the heat was overwhelming but i figured maybe we were just worked up from the long trip and the hot and extremely tiny tiny elevator(more on that later). I was given some papers to look over and sign and then he was all but out the door when my wife asked him where the thermostat control was and that is when he really started to sweat, literally. The temp in the apartment was 89 degrees which was strange to me since they new what day and time i would arrive, when i questioned him about the temp he told me they have been having trouble withe ac unit on the roof and that two weeks ago when it was last rented they put some freon it the unit and just left it as is. He was nice enough to try and get in touch with someone to come take a look at it but in the mean time we looked around at the rest of the apartment and we were lucky enough to find out that freezer was broke and not producing ice, the hot tub was empty except for 3 inches of dirty rain water and the bbq grill was filthy!!!! At this point i send an email to the owner of the apartment in Maryland who was very proactive in contacting me frequently during our research phase before we chose his unit, i explained to him all our concerns with an emphasis on the heat we were stuck in. When i tell you that my email to him was pretty long with all the major and some minor issue's we were having, i was really DISAPPOINTED when his reply to my letter was " I'll pass it on " not I'm so sorry for your troubles, that was the last i ever heard from that man!! I would avoid this unit .

Owner response:We regret to see that from the many hundreds of guests that have stayed at Oceania through our company during the past three years, that this guest is the first to post a negative review on one of the units managed by us. Fact of the matter is, there is always a possibility that an equipment of a vacation rental breaks down during the stay of a guest, no matter where travel takes you in the world. It is the responsibility of property managers like myself to respond diligently and swiftly to correct any malfunction of equipment that may occur, and to minimize any discomfort for the guest. In this particular case, I was on vacation abroad when this guest was staying in Aruba. It is however disappointing to see that in this review the very diligent response by my assistant director has been completely ignored, as she was immediately on top of things from the moment that the first call about an issue was made. We strive to excellence in our service to guests, and most guests do appreciate that fact. E.g., in this review it has not been mentioned that: (a) the malfunctioning a/c was immediately (within an hour) addressed by an a/c service company; (b) when the cause of the a/c problem was detected and noted that it will take some time to repair, the guest was offered to stay that night in another similar unit in the same building of the resort, which offer was accepted and thus the guest slept comfortably in a room with functioning a/c, of course at no extra charge; (c) I personally called the guest (long distance!) from my vacation location abroad in which conversation was confirmed by the guest that all is being worked on; (d) soon after the guest's call concerning the ice-maker, a bag of ice was delivered to him and the ice-maker was fixed the next working day; (e) the BBQ-grill and the hot tub were cleaned respectively refreshed with water and chlorine tablets the same day; (f) and we also offered a compensation for any inconveniences, to the value of US$250, which the guest regretfully refused to accept. That said, during the remaining 5 or 6 nights of the guest's stay there were no issues reported, and thus I can conclude that the guest did enjoy this luxurious condo to its full extent for the rest of his stay. Maintenance issues during a guest's stay must be handled customer oriented, with care, and with due diligence; this is also how we felt it was handled and we sincerely regret to still see, for the first time, a guest dissapointed in this way.
