A beautiful and bright San Francisco studio apartment, located in the Richmond district, is available for short term rental. It's a perfect size for a single traveler, a couple, or a small family who are looking for more budget accommodations in this expensive city.
The apartment was completely renovated in 2006 and everything is in superb condition. The kitchen is equipped with a full-sized refrigerator, microwave and a toaster oven, perfect for having simple breakfasts at home before starting your day of sightseeing. The bathroom is very large and clean and has a tub. There is a comfortable queen-sized bed that sleeps 2, as well as a sofa bed that can accommodate 1 adult comfortably, or 2 children. This set up is more suitable for a family than 2 couples, however, as there is no separation between the sleeping areas.
The location is not considered a traditionally "touristy" part of the city, but rather more of a neighborhood for San Francisco residents. That being said, Golden Gate Park (home of the De Young museum, California Academy of Sciences, Japanese Tea Garden, and many other attractions), Ocean Beach, Baker Beach, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Presidio National Park are all nearby. Grocery shopping is simple as there are numerous produce markets and a large supermarket located within easy walking distance of the apartment. There are also many restaurants in the neighborhood, featuring cuisines from all over the world, and ranging in price from budget-friendly to fancy, special occasion-type places.
Public transportation is easily accessible, with 5 bus lines located within a 5 block walk, making Union Square, Fisherman's Wharf, Pier 39 and many other tourist attractions just a bus ride away.

This is the second time we have stay in this studio. We liked it just as much this time and plan to stay there at least once a year, It is not fancy but very comfortable----great bed, useful kitchen, clean, comfortable seating, good internet service. This year we rented the garage which was a great plus to us. Vivian is a great hostess and does everything she can to make your stay a good one. Try this place!!! You will like it.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car.

We had a totally wonderful experience visiting San Francisco and this rental property was a big part of it. The studio was spotless and well equipped, located in an interesting and peaceful neighborhood.Vivian was very kind and accommodating, taking the time to help us and provide information on the area. This rental was close to several bus lines and within walking distance of many restaurants, shops, and the Golden Gate Park. It was close enough to get into the main areas with a bus trip, but far enough away from the hustle and bustle to get a real feel of a typical neighborhood setting. I would highly recommend this property!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

Everything about this studio apartment rental was wonderful. It was very clean and comfortable with all that we needed for our time there. The bed was amazingly comfortable, the sofa was good for late night reading, and the kitchen was more than adequate. The location was near our family and is also good for seeing the sights of San Francisco. There was a good nearby cafe that had good food and good hours from early morning until 10pm. (Right out the door to the corner and left up the hill to the next corner.) Vivien and Robert were welcoming and helpful, If you are lucky you will see their darling baby and cute dog. We look forward to staying there again----and often.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car.

Vivian is a great host which will make your stay easy without any complications. We had a great time in this apartment. Very clean and quiet apartment with well equipped kitchen. It is close to a lot of restaurants and amazing cafe on the corner to work at. Also, bus stops directly next to you directly driving to Union Square. We would highly recommend it.Recommended for: Tourists without a car.

Very clean, bright apartment - a comfortable and quiet stay for us, a couple and our little dog. Great location in the Richmond - walking distance to the Presidio, Baker Beach, GG Park, short drive to the ocean. If you have a car, good location for points outside the city, too. Lots of buses around if you're heading downtown or to other parts of the city. Loved the shops and restaurants around; a real neighborhood with Russian food shops, Vietnamese, Chinese, Thai, and Japanese food, an organic grocery store, various cafes within a few blocks. Little movie theater a few blocks away. Owners live on-site and are really nice, can offer suggestions for restaurants/sites, anything you might need. No stove, but a roomy fridge, dishes, etc so you can fix simple fresh meals, use the microwave/toaster/coffee machine, etc. Don't hesitate to stay here!Recommended for: Pet owners, sightseeing, tourists without a car.
