Renovated in 2009, this gem of a home includes over 4,000 square feet on two floors and features all of the modern comforts you'd expect in a five star hotel. Your home away from home features plasma TV’s and an entertainment center with speakers inside and outside around the patio. A custom kitchen features brand new appliances, a large island, and dining table.
Entertain inside or out on your private enclosed courtyard with separate dining and lounge area, a new outdoor top of the line custom built in grill, lounge chairs and a unique 70 foot lap pool with waterfall. All this in an awesome tropical setting topped off by the unique Banyan Tree that graces the yard.
You can sleep 6 and all in luxury surroundings. The master bedroom includes a fireplace, plasma TV, separate outdoor balcony, walk in closets and a large master bathroom and a magnificent view. Two other bedrooms (one with two double beds and one with a queen bed) also feature plasma TV’s and newly remodeled ensuite bathrooms.
The expansive living room is fantastic with an entertainment center, fireplace and large comfortable couches and chairs. Dining room is capable of seating 10 people but is equally comfortable for smaller groups. Upstairs you have the bedrooms and an open office area including wireless internet and a fax/copy machine.
Its many rooms and open architecture allow for space and privacy yet retain an inviting and comforting sensibility. This place always makes me feel like I am on vacation and I know you and your family will love it too. It is our pride and joy.
Just outside our gate, you are steps away from the village of Coconut Grove including restaurants, cafes, movie theaters, book stores, bars, shops, art galleries, Cocowalk etc. Just a short ride away, (10-15 minutes), is Miami’s South Beach, Key Biscayne, the Fairchild Tropical Botanical Garden, golf courses, and downtown Miami. Right next to Coconut Grove is Coral Gables, Merrick Park Shopping center and the Miami airport is only 20 minutes away.

Holiday paradise in Coconut Grove

We just stayed at the Banyan House for a week with our two kids and one set of grandparents. We were so incredibly happy with how wonderful our trip was. The house is in perfect condition and has all of the amenities you need to feel like a real "home." We spent most of our mornings out by the pool. The kids played and the adults took turns swimming laps. The home is perfectly located near all of the shops and restaurants. We really didn't need a rental car on this trip, except to head to Joe's Stone Crab near South Beach. We walked everywhere through the town. We would absolutely recommend this home as a perfect rental for a relaxing week (or two!) away. We've been renting throughout the US using VRBO since 2003, and this was by far our favorite and we hope to stay again next year.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, age 55+.

we found this house to be exactly as advertised, in perfect condition. it is an exceptional property in a great location, an easy walk to the heart of coconut grove shopping and dining, which we found excellent. For 3 bedrooms, the house is quite large, with great entertaining areas both inside and out. we will definitly go back, so please do not plan on going when we are, otherwise, I have no problem giving it a 9.5 out of 10 (nothing gets 10).
Recommended for:Pet owners, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+.

Beautiful home, terrific location and gracious host...a winning combination. Our recent family holiday was just great...exceeding our expectations. This rental was a hugh step up from the usual multiple rooms in a hotel! The difference in the quality of our time together was enthusiastically noted by every member of the family. The house has plenty of both private space and common/entertainment areas; and was stocked with everything you could need but fresh food. All of Coconut Grove was a short walk so it was easy to go separate ways and gather again alongside the pool for meals or snacks. As experienced travelers, we highly recommend a stay.

It was for us (family with 3 kids) a perfect holiday location in Coconut Grove. Just a step away from all the terraces, shops etc. and just 10 minutes to Miami beaches. A beautiful house, nice atmosphere and great service! We defiantly go back sometime, Thank you for renting your house.

We enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home - and we had great Miami winter weather. It was wonderful to enjoy all of our meals outside under the beautiful banyan tree - a real treat on Christmas day. The location was great, and the kitchen was perfect for making good meals.

We adored the house! It is absolutely a very special place - the setting under the Banyan tree is spectacular. Inside, the house is very elegant and beautifully finished and furnished. We loved it! It's an incredibly relaxing place to be. We had breakfast at Green Street Cafe - and loved the neighbourhood vibe. On arrival our host was delightful and gave us a thorough grand tour! Thanks so much for letting us stay!
