  The house was beautiful! Pictures do not describe it enough!. we were celebrating graduation from the University of Miami and it was the perfect location. we walked to dinners, breakfasts, and shopping. the pool and the bridge were a great setting for the photos and the the party.

  My husband and I stayed here for a week this past September with our two babies and a nanny, and we could not have had a better experience. The home is in a gorgeous, tropical enclave a stone's throw from the heart of the Grove, but it still feels private, secluded, and quiet. All furnishings, linens, and appliances were top of the line. Arthur, the owner, was responsive and accommodating from start to finish. Huge new flat screens, beautiful bathrooms, tasteful decor, and an astonishingly well-provisioned kitchen. My only caveat would be that it may not be a good fit for families with toddlers, as there is a great deal of stone surface (including the stairs) and glass. Otherwise, I would recommend this beautiful home in a heartbeat. Thanks for a terrific stay--we'll definitely be back!

  Absolutely gorgeous home located in the heart of Coconut Grove. Banyon Woods is tastefully decorated and absolutely spotless. This is not a rental property - this is a family's home and we felt like very special guests. We were greeted upon arrival and provided with a complete tour of the home. The neighborhood is gated, safe and very exclusive. Each night as we sat under the stars drinking wine on the lovely patio under the spectacular banyon tree that defines the property. Some nights we enjoyed the heated pool, other nights the awesome outdoor grille. Every day we discovered a new detail about the home. I was reluctant to even submit this review because I want to keep this jewel of a home for myself. However my appreciation for the owner's willingness to rent such a lovely home caused me to put my selfish needs aside. The pictures, descriptions and information about the home are accurate but in my opinion modest and very understated. The home is gorgeous. The location is perfect as we were 15 minutes from downtown, 10 minutes from Coral Gales (my daughter attends the U) and one minute from the activities and shopping in Coconut Grove. I will stay here again and I would recommend this to only people who will be respectful renters of this lovely home.....because I want the owner to continue to rent to those of us who appreciate his willingness to share Banyon Woods.

  We were searching for a vacation home for several weeks in January. Originally thought about the Miami Beach area, however after exchanging emails with Arthur, I felt compelled to check out Coconut Grove. It was perfect for our needs - we walked/rode bikes everywhere (including to Miami several times), dog friendly, many Miami activities, nearby golf. The house was wonderful, exactly as described with no surprises, excellent house manager and housekeeping/grounds staff. Arthur was the consummate host. We will be back!

  We just stayed at the Banyan House for a week with our two kids and one set of grandparents. We were so incredibly happy with how wonderful our trip was. The house is in perfect condition and has all of the amenities you need to feel like a real "home." We spent most of our mornings out by the pool. The kids played and the adults took turns swimming laps. The home is perfectly located near all of the shops and restaurants. We really didn't need a rental car on this trip, except to head to Joe's Stone Crab near South Beach. We walked everywhere through the town. We would absolutely recommend this home as a perfect rental for a relaxing week (or two!) away. We've been renting throughout the US using VRBO since 2003, and this was by far our favorite and we hope to stay again next year.

  we found this house to be exactly as advertised, in perfect condition. it is an exceptional property in a great location, an easy walk to the heart of coconut grove shopping and dining, which we found excellent. For 3 bedrooms, the house is quite large, with great entertaining areas both inside and out. we will definitly go back, so please do not plan on going when we are, otherwise, I have no problem giving it a 9.5 out of 10 (nothing gets 10).

  Beautiful home, terrific location and gracious host...a winning combination. Our recent family holiday was just great...exceeding our expectations. This rental was a hugh step up from the usual multiple rooms in a hotel! The difference in the quality of our time together was enthusiastically noted by every member of the family. The house has plenty of both private space and common/entertainment areas; and was stocked with everything you could need but fresh food. All of Coconut Grove was a short walk so it was easy to go separate ways and gather again alongside the pool for meals or snacks. As experienced travelers, we highly recommend a stay.

  It was for us (family with 3 kids) a perfect holiday location in Coconut Grove. Just a step away from all the terraces, shops etc. and just 10 minutes to Miami beaches. A beautiful house, nice atmosphere and great service! We defiantly go back sometime, Thank you for renting your house.

  We enjoyed our stay in your beautiful home - and we had great Miami winter weather. It was wonderful to enjoy all of our meals outside under the beautiful banyan tree - a real treat on Christmas day. The location was great, and the kitchen was perfect for making good meals.

  We adored the house! It is absolutely a very special place - the setting under the Banyan tree is spectacular. Inside, the house is very elegant and beautifully finished and furnished. We loved it! It's an incredibly relaxing place to be. We had breakfast at Green Street Cafe - and loved the neighbourhood vibe. On arrival our host was delightful and gave us a thorough grand tour! Thanks so much for letting us stay!
